I am so excited to finally share with you guys a new hair tutorial. There's no question that my favorite hairstyle is big, loose curls (after all, I am from Texas). It's also the style I wear my most often. Many of you have requested this tutorial, and while I shared a similar tutorial last year, I wanted to share an updated version and be as thorough and detailed as possible.
Please let me know if you have any questions!

15 Minute Curls Hair Tutorial
One of my favorite hairstyles is simple loose curls. It's the style I wear almost daily, and it's one that I can achieve in 15 minutes. It took me years to finally figure out how to curl my hair without it being "too curly" and I want to share with you a few tips and tricks to achieve loose curls that will stay all day. Here are the steps:
And yes, your hair can hold curls!
What You Need:
Spornette Teasing Comb
Boar Hair Brush (only $12!)
Hot Tools 1 in. Curling Iron (on sale for $30)
Hairspray (I used Bumble and Bumble Spray De Mode)

Since I've been around "professional" products for the last 10 years, I have developed into somewhat of a product snob. Bad I know, but I guess you can say I have been brainwashed. My justification is that I only wash my hair three times a week...so $20 a bottle doesn't seem as bad. My Husband would disagree.
Loreal is a company that I have used for years. They pretty much own the product industry. I have tried their drugstore products all the way to their high end Kerestase. While I love Kerestase, it can be so expensive! I have found a product that is in the middle and works as well as Kerestase. The Serie Collection is amazing. I bought this little duo at my recent hair appointment and I have been thrilled with it. I chose the Intense Repair Shampoo and the Masque for my conditioner. This is perfect for the gal that colors, blowdrys, flat irons, curls, etc. Almost all of us ...
