In My Beach Bag
It's been a while since I've done a "What's In My Bag" post so it was only fitting that I did one for the beach divas out there. While in Jamaica, I seemed to have "a lot" of essentials. My husband told me it wasn't practical to tote around all my stuff so I had to limit myself to the necessities. I took along my trusty One Truffle, No. 1 Clarity Pouch, because it's plastic canvas is ideal for beach conditions. If it gets wet, no big deal! These are a few life savors when it comes to a day in the sun. What are your beach necessities?

Beauty Talk | Hair Care
This post takes me back to the good ole days of working at the beauty shop. In highschool, college, and up until last summer I worked at a local Beauty Store/Boutique. I LOVED it. I was pretty sure I found my other dream job! Ha! I loved researching products, attending trainings, and just helping people find good hair and skin care. Since I've been around "professional" products for the last 10 years, I have developed into somewhat of a product snob. Bad I know, but I guess you can say I have been brainwashed. My justification is that I only wash my hair three times a week...so $20 a bottle doesn't seem as bad. My Husband would disagree.
Loreal is a company that I have used for years. They pretty much own the product industry. I have tried their drugstore products all the way to their high end Kerestase. While I love Kerestase, it can be so expensive! I have found a product that is in the middle and works as well as Kerestase. The Serie Collection is amazing. I bought this little duo at my recent hair appointment and I have been thrilled with it. I chose the Intense Repair Shampoo and the Masque for my conditioner. This is perfect for the gal that colors, blowdrys, flat irons, curls, etc. Almost all of us ...
Dry Bar | Dry Shampoo Review
I must admit, I don't wash my hair everyday. I actually can stretch it to every 3 days if I am lucky. No judging please. And yes, I do shower. With that being said, I am a dry shampoo junkie. I have about 6 different bottles sitting in my cabinet right now. I know that is a lot but I get nervous taking things back to the store. My biggest issue with dry shampoo is that 90% of them make my hair look white or gray. No thanks! Smell is also a factor. When I heard about Drybar's new product line, I knew I give it a try. I'm obsessed with the Drybar anyways so it wasn't hard to convince me. The adorable packaging doesn't hurt either. But seriously, all sales gimmicks aside, this stuff is amazing. Not only does it NOT turn my hair gray (brunetts you know what I am talking about), but it actually has a nice smell to it. It even adds a little lift to my hair without making it clump or feel icky. For $20 you can't beat that. Sephora is starting to sell Drybar products so if you don't have a Drybar near you, dont fret, you can always pop in to Sephora or order online. I am anxious to try their 3 Day Bender...a little nervous that ...
The Clutch
Recently I was introduced to this amazing designer Blair Ritchey, who makes all types of leather goodness.
I was instantly hooked on her Lulu Fold Over Clutch and had to add it to my closet. The hardest part was choosing a color because well, they are all fabulous! {my next purchase will be in snake}
This little beauty is perfect for a night out or running errands.
These are just some of my favorite things that I store in my clutch on a daily basis.

In My Teacher Bag
I'm a huge sucker for "What's in my Bag" posts and blogs, so it probably isn't a surprise that this isn't my first rodeo.
I just love learning about new products.
With that said, I decided to make this one "back-to-school" friendly.
I guess you could just say that school is on the brain and lets face it, I LOVE to shop for office supplies.
Here are some of my go to items...and some I wish I had.
Enjoy!
These two beauties are ready for some serious baggage.

The Secrets Out
Some of the best keep {beauty} secrets are the ones we know about! After working in a salon for the past 7 years {summer job aside from teaching} and being a product junkie, I have literally tried hundreds of different beauty products. Sadly, I tend to fall for all the gimmicks. However, I have narrowed it down to my favorite products that imitate the real thing. I was inspired to write this post after spending a few days in the salon and having many customers & friends ask me about the products I use. This by no means is all that I use, but it's definitely what people tend to ask about most!Enjoy!
1. St. Tropez Self Tanning Mousse and VS Beach Sexy Self Tanning Lotion {These are worth the $$ and one application will last about a week.} 2. Lip Venom and Lip Injection{You will feel it working immediately. Can be worn alone or under lipstick/gloss} 3. Lancome ...
Beach Bumming
In exactly
one week
me...the husband... his parents...and 2 sisters will pack our bags and head to the beach.
We are so excited to get our toes in that Florida sand.
In the midst of writing my lists of what to pack for a week of R&R, I thought I would share with you my list of beach essentials!
Enjoy!
1. Australian Gold SPF 30 and Bronzer- I love this because it's not greesy and it acts as an SPF and leaves a nice waterproof tint.
2. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SPF 70- My all time FAVORITE face sunscreen. Seriously goes on dry and sheer. I have pretty sensitive skin and this works great.
3. Sugar Tinted Lip Balm In Rose SPF 15- This is a great lip balm that gives you a little SPF & a little color. A MUST HAVE!
4. Evian Misting Spray- This acts as a perfect refresher while in the sun. Yes, Yes it't just H20 in a fancy package but it really does work! I love this stuff...doesn't smear makeup either.
5. Fashion & Celeb Magazines...duh!
6. Tory Burch Flip Flops- My favorite summer flip flops. Not to mention they are made well and ...
