A few weeks ago Austin and I ventured off to California to visit the gorgeous Terranea Resort. This was our first trip to the property, but hopefully it will not be our last. I know many of you enjoy visiting California, specifically LA, and you would not believe this resort is located right outside of the city. It's the perfect location from the airport and a short drive to downtown. Here are a few of our favorite moments from our stay at Terranea in Palos Verdes. ...
My Trip to #CampCourtlyCheck with MacKenzie-Childs
Growing up, I have always been fascinated with MacKenzie-Childs. I was familiar with the popular Courtly Check collection and loved the classic black and white pattern. Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to visit the beautiful MacKenzie-Childs headquarters. This was my first trip to Aurora, New York and I can not wait to go back. ...

A Trendy Travel Guide to Los Angeles
A few weeks ago Austin and I traveled to LA. It seems like we have been there a lot these past few months. After sharing our Weekend Guide in LA, we wanted to share something a little more in depth with more options than the small list we provided here. ...
How to Have the Best Disneyland Experience
Growing up in Southern California had it's perks. Beautiful weather, family nearby and of course my good ol' pal, Mickey Mouse. If you've followed my blog for a while, you know we visit California quite often. I travel to LA for work occasionally or we will schedule trips to visit family. You may remember that my mom was also a school teacher for several years. When I was young, I remember her students in California would all pitch-in to get her season passes to Disneyland. (Was that one heck of a room mom or what?) With Disney practically in our backyard, it was easy for us to visit frequently. ...

Packing for Christmas
This may surprise you, but I love packing. There's just something about organizing and planning my outfits that gives me a sense of relief and helps me stay sane during the stress of traveling. Austin, on the other hand, takes more of a "last minute" approach. Opposites attract, right? This Christmas, Austin and I are heading to stay with his family on Christmas Eve, then going to stay with my family for Christmas dinner. Next week, my side of the family are heading to California to surprise my Grandfather for his birthday. He is turning 80 (!) and we are so excited to fly out and celebrate him. ...
