I am so excited to share these pictures with all of you. I love to document little moments in life but I get really excited about a special occasion such as this. Last weekend my besties and I traveled to Chicago to surprise our dear friend April with a bachelorette party weekend. She was so surprised. I mean we are from Dallas, Little Rock and Houston...so she was shocked. Our plan was to surprise her in the hotel lobby, then take her to the room for a lingerie shower then a night on the town. We had the whole room decorated with bachelorette cookies, games, a photo booth, and of course... lingerie! We had a blast showering her with all kinds of goodies for her upcoming wedding. When Saturday came, we spent the day being tourist. We figured if we were going to make the trip to Chicago, why not make a whole weekend out of it? It was such a fun weekend to spend with good friends. Only a couple more months till the big day!

To Napa We Go!
What better way to experience a wine tasting tour than in Napa Valley? Thanks to some of our good friends in SF, we were able to experience wine country the right way. On our way we did a few touristy things such as visit the Golden Gate Bridge. Loved the views! This picture above needs a little hashtag love with #nofilter...that is how beautiful the sky was that day...crazy! Here are some of my favorite moments from our trip to Napa...enjoy!

San Francisco: Day 2
Visting Fishermans Warf was probably my favorite part of our whole trip. I just loved the crisp air, noisy sealions, and delicious food on every corner. Here are some snapshots of our day around Fishermans Warf.

San Francisco | Day 1
Better late than never....a little recap of our weekend trip to San Fran. Looking through my pictures I realize there are wayy to many for one post...so this will just be part 1. Ah, where to start? Well, If you have never been to San Fran, I suggest you make a plan to visit... immediately! It was seriously such a BEAUTIFUL and exciting place to be! I could definitely move there. I mean I know it's the 2nd most expensive place to live but I'm sure a teacher salary would totally cut it there right? HA only kidding. Back to our trip. Day 1 was spent exploring the Union Square...Ghirardelli Square and of course shopping. I am really lucky to have a husband that is sweet enough to not complain and at least pretend to enjoy a day of running in and out of stores for just a "quick look". I'm not cruel though, I know he loves chocolate so it was only fair to sweeten the deal by ending up at the Ghirardelli store for some delicious hot choco (thanks Lauren for the suggestion). Can't wait to share day 2 and 3 with you! xo-ashley

The Robertson Farm
This past weekend my husbands side of the family traveled to meet up at Grandmothers house. While we were there we payed a visit to the most beautiful piece of land known as the Robertson Farm. Never considered myself as a farm girl, but since I now carry on the Robertson name I may have to reconsider! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our time at The Robertson Farm. enjoy!!
A Day Trip
One of my favorite days in NYC was visiting Lady Liberty via Staten Island Ferry. The best part??? This little outing was a freebie! Though, it was foggy and slightly sprinkling, it was a beautiful view of the city. Did I mention we purchased statue of liberty hats? Because we did. And I must say it was the best purchase of the trip (well, one of them!) No trip to Staten Island would be complete without the proper attire. Although, the trip was a lot of fun, it was humbling in the same. To be completely honest, I was a little hesitant to visit because I figured there would still be some signs of Hurricane Sandy... and I was right. While New York has done an excellent job at cleaning up and getting things up and going, there was definite signs of damage when arriving closer to the peninsula. It was an eerie feeling walking around and seeing street lights fallen over...statues destroyed...and windows replaced with wooden panels. Our hearts go out to all of those who were affected. Here are some of my favorite pics from our Staten Island day trip...enjoy!!
New York Minute
This past weekend, I experienced such a fun weekend in Manhattan with my mom and sister-in-law. We flew out really early Friday morning and returned to Dallas late Sunday night. Goodness gracious, I love New York...such a beautiful and exciting place. These are a few of my favorite pictures from the weekend. I will post more later, but these I had to share now! Enjoy!!
Thanks for reading!

By the Lake…
This past weekend my family and I packed our bags and headed to an east Texas lake house We had a great time fishing and exploring around the lake. I never considered myself an "outdoorsie" gal but I do like to spend sometime with mother nature every now and then. With that being said I did not catch any fish (so don't let that picture fool you) nor did I spend 4 hours straight on the dock with my fishing pole. But I did take lots of pictures...hold a fish...and drink coffee on a rocking chair with a beautiful view.
That counts for a great time in my book!
Here are some pictures that capture part of our weekend by the lake.
enjoy!!

While visiting LA one must to go to Disneyland...I mean it's the happiest place on earth...right?
We took full advantage of this a few weeks ago when visiting California.
My husband was a first timer so of course I was thrilled to show him all that Disney has to offer.
Here is a few of our happiest moments at Disney.
Enjoy!
