A few weeks ago when I posted on my favorite spring jackets, I discovered so many cute styles for Spring. This navy one from Anthropologie was the first to catch my eye. I knew the pattern was something that would be a good versatile piece for Spring and it's light weight material wouldn't be too hot for Dallas. It's the perfect solution for warmer days and cooler nights. Not to mention it was a sale purchase (even cheaper now!) and I am pretty happy about it.

Dress Season
Spring is here and that means dresses are here to stay. I don't know about you, but I am definitely ready to get back into the ease of wearing a dress. This maxi dress by Catch Bliss Boutique is the perfect solution for a Spring dress. It is so easy – doesn’t require any type of ironing, feels literally like wearing a nightgown, and can be easily be dressed up. I can already tell that it is going to be a new staple in my closet and think I may have to get it in the red version as well. I can easily see me wearing this dress with a denim jacket or a leather moto jacket. In the summertime this will be the ideal type of piece to just throw on with a pair of sandals and go.

Blazer Girl
Something that every girl should own is a great blazer. Growing up, I can remember my mom rocking the blazer (complete with shoulder pads of course) and I thought it was the sign of power. Maybe because I thought my mom was awesome, or maybe because those shoulder pads were just so big. Either way, I'm glad to see they are making a come back (minus the shoulder pads).
To me, a blazer is the best way to give your wardrobe options. I love to layer basic tees, tank tops, and blouses with a good fitting blazer. If you are new to this, I suggest going with classic options like this black version from J Crew or this white one from Madewell. Blazer's shouldn't be a scary thing to try, instead have fun with it and try mixing it with clothes you already have in your closet. To see more options, visit my picks below!

New Kicks
I have loved the slip on sneaker ever since I laid my eyes on this pair. I knew it was a trend to try, but wasn't sure if I wanted to spend $200 on a pair without really knowing if I would be "cool" enough to pull these off. When I found this pair, I knew I couldn't pass them up. Not sure if I can pull these off, but oh how I love them. The best part? They were less than $25. (I know! Crazy considering they look identical to these) I kept the look super casual with my favorite black denim, J Crew V- Neck, Silky Blazer and jewels from Lola James and Love Always Couture. I can't wait to wear these through out Spring & Summer.

Joules | Rain Boots
Some items in your wardrobe are just considered necessities. A nice winter coat, a LBD, and a pair of rain boots. Since the weather in Dallas has been so gloomy, it was only fitting that I pull out my Joules Rain Boots. I finally got my hands on a pair and I was pretty excited at the chance to wear them.
This is my first pair, so I went with classic black and gold. I love the glossy finish and the touch of gold. For a more colorful option, you should check out some of these. Joules has a great selection of prints and colors that would be perfect for Spring. With a rainy season ahead, it might be worth your investment to pick up a pair.

I Duffle Dare You
In anticipation for Spring, I couldn't resist a bright floral dress, white blazer, and a great leather bag. I have been looking for a duffle/crossbody for quite a while. And when I came across Kelly Wynne Handbags, I knew I found the right one. The "I Duffle Dare You" bag was just what I was looking for. The navy embossed leather was a a fun spin on a traditional leather bag and I love that it can be worn in more than one way, as seen here.
Her collection of bags is nothing less than fabulous. Not only are her bags 100% leather, but everything is made in the USA. What bags are you feeling this season? I would love to hear your feedback! Please check out Kelly's new collection and let me know some of your favorite bags and colors! I am loving the Mingle Mingle Mini and the Risky Biz Wristlet... What are some of your favorites?
Spring Neutrals
It's official. Spring is here...finally! While it may not feel like Spring in some parts, Dallas is definitely feeling the warmer temps. When the weather heats up, I always reach for lighter colors, like pastels or neutrals. Typically all the bright or pastel colors are popular for Spring, but this year the runways have been filled with creams, blushes, and golds. I love the simple and subdued color palette. I’m a neutralist at heart, so this outfit is going to get a lot of love this season. It just feels so fresh.
When wearing neutrals, I always try to incorporate some type of color in my look. Whether bold or simple, it's an easy way to give your look a pop of color. Ell and Emm's jewelry caught my eye and I couldn't resist these Evil Eye Double Wrap bracelets. They are the perfect amount of edge and give just the right amount of color.
What looks are you excited for this Spring? Do you go for brighter colors or are you loving the shades of neutrals?
Boots With The Fur
With Spring quickly approaching, I am really wanting to reach for brighter colors. But there is something I love about the look of black. Last Saturday, we were in NYC and the weather was gorgeous. I was pretty excited to ditch the coat considering days before it was in the teens! This weather called for my favorite Equipment Blouse (told you they are addicting) and this faux fur vest from Nordstrom. It was the perfect get-up for running around town and of course brunching at Sarabeth's.

Camel + Black
Hello from Boston! Austin and I arrived here yesterday and we are enjoying every second. This city is absolutely beautiful and the weather could not be better. I was pretty nervous with all the talk about the cold front moving in (I know, it's still coming) but it's actually been really nice.
Since my clothing was limited to what could fit in my suitcase, I knew I had to trust the basics and stick with my camel belted coat (similar) and black wool scarf (similar). Not only do I love the color combo, but I love this classic look. I also layered up on some of my favorite bracelets by Love Always Couture and Lola James Jewelry. Today, we plan to hit up our favorite coffee spot, walk the harbor, and visit some of our favorite bakeries. To see more of our trip be sure to follow along via Instagram!
Spring Jackets
One of my favorite parts about Spring, is the soft neutrals and pastel colors. Since it's still chilly in Dallas (hello, there is ice on the ground) these Spring inspired jackets are a must. I picked this Teal Woven Moto Jacket up from Zara last Spring, and it has since been a closet favorite. While the nights are still a little chilly, it makes the perfect transition piece as we move to Spring. River Island makes this great pink version (love the detail) and of course you can't go wrong with Tory Burch.
When wearing a bold print, I like to keep everything else pretty simple. Nude pumps, neutral graphic tee, and delicate jewelry. This Double Trouble Necklace from Oia Jules, is the perfect amount of delicate and edge. I am such a fan of dainty, gold jewelry and Oia Jules doesn't disappoint!
