I love a good cardigan. Being a teacher, that probably doesn't surprise you, but I love to wrap myself in a cozy sweater or cardi. Typically, I try to find cardigans that are long enough to wear leggings or those really skinny jeans. I also like them to be a tad oversized. Obviously, it was easy for me to fall in love with this Holiday Sweater Cardigan from Shop Bella C. It's so soft and perfect to throw on when going out and about. With the temperatures constantly changing in Dallas, I want pieces that will be easy to throw on and layer. Can't wait to wear this throughout the season! Shades of Grey
One of my favorite things about stripes is that they are so easy to layer and mix with patterns. Thus, the reason I love this dress from Shop Bella C. I am usually the type that goes for outfits that are more "loose fitting" so wearing this form fitting number was a tad out of my comfort zone. However, the material is super flattering and obviously you can pair it with something a little "loose" to give it a more relaxed look. To add to my relaxed-casual look, I wore a slouchy beanie (also out of my comfort zone!) and some distressed leather boots. I love putting together a look that I can be comfortable and still feel styled.

What a crazy few days we have been having! Ice and snow... in Dallas? Yuck! While, I have enjoyed these past few days off of school, I am ready for this to clear out. See us Texans have a hard time with all this cold weather stuff. Oh yes, we cancel school, close down businesses, go crazy all because of an inch or two of ice. It's pretty humorous if you think about it and I know you northerners think we are ridiculous. I'm not too upset about this since it's allowed me a few extra days to sleep in and some extra time with Austin who worked from home.
Keeping warm is a must when venturing out in these freezing temps. I love this coat from ILY Couture (old but here are a few options 1 & 2 ) which you may remember from here and here. This scarf is actually my husbands! He never wears it so I figured I would take it out for a spin. I actually really like it so I think it's best if I hold on to it for now! This one from J. Crew is very similar. These Juicy Couture gloves and Target hat are a few of ...
Polka Dots & Lace
I've seriously worn this scarf everyday for the last 3 days. Forgive me, but it's just one of those key pieces that is so easy and versatile to wear. I got this scarf (and shirt) a few weeks ago when I hosted an event at J. Crew. It was one of those, lights shining from above moments when I realized this was meant for me. Ok, not so dramatic but you get the idea. The swiss dot blouse is adorable! So feminine and flirty with the button down back. This infinity scarf was the perfect touch to complete the look.

Finding the right jacket for Fall can almost be as hard as finding the right pair of jeans. Piace Boutique made that experience for me so easy and thanks to them, this Kaia Moto Jacket is my new best friend. It's buttery soft vegan leather is one of a kind and the color is so easy to wear. A Tan Vest
J Crew has the best selection of vests. I picked this up at the Style Sessions a few weeks ago and I have been anxiously awaiting cooler temps. It is so soft and feminine and not like your typical "puffer" vests. I have to be careful with those because let's be honest, I don't want any extra "puff" going on. Who does? This vest isn't bulky and still shows a silhouette. I paired it with this black and white grid blouse. This blouse has seriously come in handy...obviously, I have been wearing it on repeat like crazy. It is such a great layering piece for a fitted blazer or this J Crew Excursion Quilted Vest. I plan on pairing this vest with this plaid shirt or this blouse. It makes for a perfect casual glam look ...
