When people ask me about online shopping, I always recommend Piperlime. I've shopped with them since I was in college and it's still been one of my go to sites for affordable fashion. Not only do they carry over brands, but they also have some pretty legit sales on a regular basis.
When I was in New York a few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to hear about the new Piperlime Collection. This brand is exclusive to Piperlime and I was pretty impressed. This Gold Print Blouse was a crowd pleaser at fashion week and I now can see why so many girls were swooning over this fall staple. I can't wait to throw this on with a leather skirt or oxblood skinnies.

A Treat for your Feet
I love heels just as much as the next girl. But there's just something about slipping on a good pair of flats after a night on the town or after a long day on my feet. Saturday, I tried my first pair of Tieks Ballet Flats and I have worn them every day since. They are so comfortable!
After seeing my fellow teachers and blogger friends sporting these flats, I knew I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Some cool features include the little pouch that is included in the box, the signature blue soles, and the cute way they fold up making it super easy to carry in your bag. The colors and print vary but my top three favorites are the Sand Snake, Leopard Print, and Fuchsia. You can't go wrong with a pop of color or a fun print!

As I mentioned last week, I am loving track pants for Fall. Not only are they on point for the season, but so versatile for day to day wear. These track pants from Dress Up Boutique are the perfect option for work or play. The zipper detail and soft texture are just a few of the reasons why I love these pants.
Saturday, I wore this look out to dinner for date night, but Sunday, I threw these suckers back on with slip on flats and a slouchy tee for an afternoon of errands and cleaning the house. I love it! Fancy Pants
TGIF friends! Wanted to share a look from NYFW and a trend that I am loving this Fall. I can't get enough of these pants, and while my husband says they look like pajamas, I just shake my head! Silly boys. These pants are everywhere for Fall. If you are a little skeptical, I suggest you go with a solid color like these from J Crew (also on sale!) to try it out. For me, I had to wear heels with a more relaxed pant. I have seen drapey pants worn with flats, and it looked adorable, however for me- I needed the extra height. Have you tried these pants before? I would love to hear your thoughts on this trend! xx

And actually comfortable....you're not walking on clouds or anything but they aren't bad. Jo Malone just release a new fragrance, Wood Sage and Sea Salt, and I love love it. Bag Lady
If you know me, you know I have a thing for bags. It all started when I was six years old. All I wanted for Christmas was this brown leather purse from JCPenny. My family loves to laugh about that Christmas because that purse was all I could talk, think or ask about. Christmas came and Santa delivered. I was the happiest six year old on the block. I sported that purse all day and it never left my shoulder. My mom eventually peeled it off me once I was asleep.
To this day, my family jokes about that purse and loves to give me a hard time about my ever growing purse collection. But who can blame them. A girl knows what she wants!
Fast forward 21 years, and this Cleo Tote by Elaine Turner is a great addition to the collection. My six year old self would be so proud! I love the size and shape. I actually use this for school to carry my laptop, papers and lesson plans. Elaine Turner never disappoints with the quality of her bags and shoes! To see more from her collection, visit here!

Floral Dress
You know when you find that dress that is so easy to take from day to night? Well this is mine. This dress has it all! Fun print, great length and so comfortable. Funny thing. Not only was this dress my first look for Fashion Week, but also the dress I wore on the first day of school. Who knew it could be suitable for both occasions!
Stay tuned for a short re-cap of my trip! Thanks for reading! xx

Papers in the Park
In my book, weekends are meant for two things: brunch and sleeping in. But now that school is back in session, I have a few more responsibilities. My weekends now mostly consist of getting my grocery shopping done, preparing for blog content, catching up on emails, and grading papers. While grading papers isn't always at the top of my list, (I know my teacher friends totally agree!) I do enjoy grading in an enjoyable environment. Since the weather is getting nice, I plan to spend my weekends outdoors as much as possible.
For my third look with Nine West, Fall was on the brain. During Fall, I love to wear oversized sweaters, skinny jeans and short boots like the Jareth Booties from Nine West. This is one look that will be on heavy rotation this Fall!

Coffee Run
Happy Monday! Last week, I shared my Back to School looks with Nine West. And this week, I'm continuing the theme by sharing what goes on before I actually step in the classroom.
The first order of business is figuring out what to wear in the mornings. I wish I could always be organized and have it picked out the night before, but you know how that goes! For work, I like to keep it casual, yet professional. These black pants, classic white blouse and peep toe booties from Nine West are one of my favorite combos for Fall. I love a little heel and this is one that I can definitely sport while on my feet. They're so comfortable!
I like to arrive at school early to prep for the day. But before I can do any of that, I make a most essential coffee run. I usually grab an iced coffee to go, and head to school. I love sipping my coffee and making any last minute adjustments to my lessons or activities.
A stylish, but comfortable outfit and a highly caffeinated beverage make for a great start to the day!
