These days I am really loving soft shorts. They are not only comfortable (like pajamas), but they come in all sorts of patterns to make for a fun summer look. If there's one item in my closet I love, it's a great cardigan. Maybe it's the teacher in me, but investing in a good cardigan will get you through multiple seasons and will definitely give you plenty of options when it comes to outfits.  Due to the hot temps in Dallas, a lightweight cardigan is a must. When it comes to accessories, black and white is an easy win for me. I should probably try to branch out and embrace color more often, but I can't help but fall for classic B/W pieces like these. A maxi dress is one of my favorite go to looks for summer.
