Today I am sharing my first look from The rewardStyle Conference this past weekend. Since the conference was in Dallas, it was only fitting that we went to the Giant Eyeball Sculpture. Nestled right in the center of Downtown Dallas, this photo op was the perfect place to shoot some pictures.
For day 1, I wore this black and white Parker dress and paired it with my new Sole Society Mandee Lace Up Heels. I love the "fit and flare" look of this dress and adding a blazer gave it the right about of sophistication. I have started doing that a lot lately to give my dresses a new look. What are some ways that you change up the look of a dress?

Tied With a Bow
One of my favorite colors to wear this season is blush. It's still feminine without being too pink. I snatched this blouse up at Forever 21 last Fall but have found some very similar options linked below. The wrap around style is so flattering and can be dressed up or down. It's one of those blouses that you can wear with so many things. I can't wait to pair it with these Citizens of Humanity White Jeans with these Tory Burch Heels. I have a weakness for neutrals and I know this will be something that I wear continuously this Spring.
On a personal note, I am gearing up for the rewardStyle Conference this weekend. I am super excited, nervous and anxious all at the same time! Regardless of my worries, I am looking forward to some girl time with some of my favorite blogger babes, learning a lot and meeting new brands! With that being said, things may be a little quiet around here as I prepare for the conference and make my sub plans for my class. Hope everyone has a great week!

Bucket Bag
Every season we can expect a new trend on the latest handbags and fashion. This Spring the bucket bag is back with full force. Otherwise known as the "drawstring" bag, this specific handbag is currently a modern throwback to the 70's - 90's eras when its roomy build became the focus of utility convenience. Not to mention- it looks so chic!
Mansur Graval seems to have taken the lead on this trend this season but if the high price tag isn't your thing, don't worry! Old Navy and Kate Spade have some other options that are much easier on your wallet. Above are 10 of my favorites at all price points. Enjoy! XX ...
Navy Jacquard
A few weeks ago when I posted on my favorite spring jackets, I discovered so many cute styles for Spring. This navy one from Anthropologie was the first to catch my eye. I knew the pattern was something that would be a good versatile piece for Spring and it's light weight material wouldn't be too hot for Dallas. It's the perfect solution for warmer days and cooler nights. Not to mention it was a sale purchase (even cheaper now!) and I am pretty happy about it.

Dress Season
Spring is here and that means dresses are here to stay. I don't know about you, but I am definitely ready to get back into the ease of wearing a dress. This maxi dress by Catch Bliss Boutique is the perfect solution for a Spring dress. It is so easy – doesn’t require any type of ironing, feels literally like wearing a nightgown, and can be easily be dressed up. I can already tell that it is going to be a new staple in my closet and think I may have to get it in the red version as well. I can easily see me wearing this dress with a denim jacket or a leather moto jacket. In the summertime this will be the ideal type of piece to just throw on with a pair of sandals and go.

Color Me Floral
For me, flowers are symbolic of Spring. Not only can they make your house look nice and cheery, but it can also add some color to your wardrobe.
While I normally opt for less “girly” patterns, there’s something about florals that have been appealing to me lately. When incorporating florals, start small—a floral accessory, scarf, bag, or shoe is a safe way to begin. Another option is to start with a floral blouse or tee under a favorite blazer, or try a statement dress with a solid cardigan or jacket. These prints should be playful additions to your look. Whether you decide to go bold or just add a bloom here and there, this print is something you need in your wardrobe this season. You can find the print in all sorts of variations – from pastel to bright, and small to extra large. Below are some of my floral favorites!

Blazer Girl
Something that every girl should own is a great blazer. Growing up, I can remember my mom rocking the blazer (complete with shoulder pads of course) and I thought it was the sign of power. Maybe because I thought my mom was awesome, or maybe because those shoulder pads were just so big. Either way, I'm glad to see they are making a come back (minus the shoulder pads).
To me, a blazer is the best way to give your wardrobe options. I love to layer basic tees, tank tops, and blouses with a good fitting blazer. If you are new to this, I suggest going with classic options like this black version from J Crew or this white one from Madewell. Blazer's shouldn't be a scary thing to try, instead have fun with it and try mixing it with clothes you already have in your closet. To see more options, visit my picks below!

New Kicks
I have loved the slip on sneaker ever since I laid my eyes on this pair. I knew it was a trend to try, but wasn't sure if I wanted to spend $200 on a pair without really knowing if I would be "cool" enough to pull these off. When I found this pair, I knew I couldn't pass them up. Not sure if I can pull these off, but oh how I love them. The best part? They were less than $25. (I know! Crazy considering they look identical to these) I kept the look super casual with my favorite black denim, J Crew V- Neck, Silky Blazer and jewels from Lola James and Love Always Couture. I can't wait to wear these through out Spring & Summer.

Nordstrom X BaubleBar
Some exciting news launched yesterday with the collaboration of BaubleBar and Nordstrom. I am so excited because BaubleBar is a brand that I have loved for quite some time now and obviously loving Nordstrom, I knew this would be something that I wanted to check out.
At BaubleBar you can get gorgeous jewels that don't break the bank. My personal favorites include the Acrylic Monogram (seen here) and the Happy Text Necklace (seen here). When I previewed the new collection a few weeks ago, I knew these were pieces I needed to get my hands on. Some personal favorites include this Hinge Bracelet, these Crystal Drop Earrings, and these Bar Stud Earrings. Be sure to check out the new collaboration. What are your favorites?

Joules | Rain Boots
Some items in your wardrobe are just considered necessities. A nice winter coat, a LBD, and a pair of rain boots. Since the weather in Dallas has been so gloomy, it was only fitting that I pull out my Joules Rain Boots. I finally got my hands on a pair and I was pretty excited at the chance to wear them.
This is my first pair, so I went with classic black and gold. I love the glossy finish and the touch of gold. For a more colorful option, you should check out some of these. Joules has a great selection of prints and colors that would be perfect for Spring. With a rainy season ahead, it might be worth your investment to pick up a pair.
