I must say, I am pretty excited about getting to wear dresses on a regular basis now. Though this Texas weather can change at any moment, I'm crossing my fingers that the heat is here to stay. Now that I am starting to pull out my summer wardrobe, and the self tanner, I am realizing that this amazing denim jacket goes with just about any maxi dress. I stumbled upon this little gem at my trusty neighborhood Forever 21. I'm telling you, the best place to find cheap and trendy clothes...that may or may not fall apart within a couple washes. Regardless, I loved it and that was that.

Maxed Out
One of my favorite looks of the season is by far the maxi. Dress or skirt I love the effortless look of the long flowy fabric. When I saw this chiffon maxi for $12 (!) I knew that it was going to be a perfect spring/ summer staple. I paired it with a chambray shirt, bright bangles and some fun sandals. This look is definitely going to be on heavy rotation this summer. What are your summer go to looks?

Loving a breezy, white tunic for the start of the Spring season. With temps like these it has me eager to pull out all my spring and summer attire. Pink and White
During our trip to San Francisco last month I had a chance to visit the Forever 21 boutique located in Union Square. The 3-story store was so much more than I imagined. Forever 21 is my favorite store to buy trendy tops or basics. It's cheap and (hate to say it) usually doesn't last too long, but it's great place to get my trend fix. I saw this pink blouse hanging in the window and knew that it belonged in my closet. It is a favorite of mine and the quality is up to par. The options are endless for this baby. After all, who can resist a bright pink blouse?

One of my favorite looks these days is a military inspired jacket paired with a fitted tee. Spending this past weekend in San Fran gave me the perfect opportunity to sport this look. This casual outfit was perfect for the chilly days walking around the city. I can't forget to mention this fabulous necklace. I love any excuse to wear layers. The weather in Dallas has been so crazy the past few days so layers is a must.
