I’m starting to put together this year’s guide that will give you all the details on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 Early Access dates, catalog download, and a preview of my picks. When is the 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale dates are Monday, July 17, 2023 through Sunday, August 6, 2023. However, depending on your Nordy Club cardmember level, you can shop the sale as early Tuesday, July 11, 2023 during the Cardmember Early Access period. Early Access enables Nordy Club cardholders exclusive access to the sale before the sale is open to the general public. You can learn more about Nordy Club and cardholder benefits over on Nordstrom. Shopping starts at 3:00am ET / 12:00am PT for each day. A preview of the sale will go live July 3, but you won’t be able to purchase until your qualifying date below.
Here’s a breakdown of the most important dates and times:
- July 3: Preview the sale on Nordstrom.com
- July 11: Early Access for cardmembers with Icon status.
- July 12: Early Access for cardmembers with Ambassador status.
- July 13: Early Access for cardmembers with Influencer status.
- July 17: Anniversary Sale opens to the general public.
- August 6: Last day of the Anniversary Sale

What’s on sale this year?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the best sales of the year because Nordstrom heavily discounts brand-new, newly released items for Fall (rather than off-season items). They also discount premium items that otherwise never go on-sale. As for what will be on sale this year, you’ll see some staple brands such as:

When does Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 Early Access start?
Depending on your Nordy Club status, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 Early Access dates are Tuesday, July 11, 2023 to Sunday July 16, 2023. Only Nordy Club cardmembers get to shop the exclusive early access period! The higher your status, the sooner you get to shop. Icon status gets to shop first on July 3 followed by Ambassadors and Influencers.
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is probably the best sale among any retailer for the entire year. The sale is one of the only sales where you get deep discounts on new items for the upcoming Fall season, which is very exciting. This sale isn’t the typical “clearance sale” where retailers liquidate last year’s or last season’s inventory. Nordstrom also has the half yearly sales, but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is by far the biggest sale of the year. I think it’s even better than Black Friday.
This event has become legendary among Nordstrom customers who enjoy outstanding savings on the most exciting new fall merchandise, along with plenty of stuff for summer.
When do your Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 posts go live?

Do I need a promo code for the sale?
No. There is no promo code required. The sale is available to all customers, but some customers will be given exclusive early access to the sale.
Should I shop in-store or online?
The is sale is very popular and the stores will be very busy. I always recommend shopping online for the best selection. In addition to free shipping and free returns, Nordstrom also offers curbside pickup, expedited shipping, same-day delivery (for select areas), and even international shipping.
What is Early Access?
Early Access offers Nordstrom cardholders exclusive access to shopping the sale. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 Early Access dates are from July 11 through July 16 before the sale opens to the general public on July 17. It’s the best time ensure the best items are still in stock. If you’re not a cardholder, I recommend it as it has plenty of other perks.
How do I get Early Access?
Early access to the sale is available to all Nordstrom cardmembers automatically. Access is available to all card levels and card types. If you don’t have a card, you’ll need to sign-up for a Nordstrom credit card. See below.
How do I get a Nordstrom card?
Nordstrom offers two types of cards, the retail card or Visa Signature card. Both cards provide the same Nordstrom benefits, including early access to the sale. However, Visa Signature cardholders will earn additional Nordstrom points with any purchase using the card. Applying is easy and you can start shopping instantly, if approved.
