If there's one thing you can count on in Texas, it's the extreme heat (ok and the humidity). Two things that do not pair well with hair. Due to the unfortunate heat, I've been really inspired to find pretty hairstyles that help minimize frizz and are relatively low maintenance.
I was super excited to try out the new Pantene Stylers Collection. I have a weakness for hair products (you guys know this) so I couldn't wait to get my hands on the Blow Out Extend Dry Shampoo and Flexible Hold Hair Spray. Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray- This is magic in a can. The Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray is amazing because it's formulated for all hair types and is meant to be used a few different ways. I use this product as a dry shampoo, however it is used by many as a way to add volume and texture to fine or thin hair.Typically styling aids add a little shine, but this doesn't (which is why I love it). It doesn't make my hair dull, but it definitely minimizes the oil around my roots. The smell is also incredible. I never thought I'd spend $42 bucks on a dry shampoo/texturizer....but when my hairdresser kept using this on me I feel in love with it more and more!

.02 NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella- This color is a true deep red. I have been looking for one that wasn't too orangey or cherry and this was it! Stays on pretty well too. Looks good worn alone or under a gloss.
.03 Butter London Lippy in Queen Vic - Love this bright pop of pink. Don't be scared off by the "purpley" look...it goes on like a pink. It's a thicker gloss so it doubles as a lipstick too. Stays on for a while, but not like a stain.
