Ever since getting the Nora Skirt from Corilynn, I couldn't wait to wear it. Nothing makes me feel more girly than a classic fitting skirt and a great pair of pumps. This was the perfect look for dinner during our staycation at The Joule.
I am new to the brand Corilynn, but after reading up on this amazing company, it was easy to see why they are so popular. Not only do they have beautiful clothing, but it's made incredibly well. Each piece is dreamed, designed, and stitched right here in the USA. I have my eye The Audrey Skirt (love that navy!) and this blouse!

Holiday Dress
Now that the holidays are well on their way, it only makes sense to start looking for that perfect holiday dress. If you're like me, you probably stress when trying to find the perfect party dress. It's a busy time of year and it can be really hard trying to find something appropriate for that special occasion. However, Nordstrom has always made shopping so easy for me, so it's no surprise that I would look here for my party dress!
This Betsey Johnson fit and flare dress from Nordstrom was exactly what I was looking for. The plaid is on point for this season and the flared skirt adds the perfect touch for a holiday look. If you're on the hunt for some pretty holiday dresses, I highly suggested taking a look at Nordstrom. I am looking at getting this Blue Midi from BCBG or this Satin Shift Dress by Cynthia Steffe. What are your favorite holiday looks?

The Packing List | NYFW
In just a few short hours, I will be on my way to experience my very first Fashion Week in New York City. I am so excited to be traveling with dear friends, Bishop & Holland, and I can't wait to share some exciting collaborations & projects with you! Oh and I know you are all thinking, a teacher at fashion week?! So yes, a teacher at fashion week. Crazy!
Packing for an event like Fashion Week can be an exciting, yet daunting task. However, I was so excited when Portero wanted to team up to share my packing list for NYFW. Portero is one of the leading companies in selling authentic, vintage bags and the only place I go to for gently used accessories. This Louis Vuitton Duffle from Portero was the perfect size for a quick trip. Not only does it do the job, but it looks great too!
In my bag, you will find some fun heels, like these new lace up booties from Steve Madden. Or of course, the classic Valentino Rock Stud Pump. I also threw in some flats because, let's be honest, there's no way ...
The Packing List | Summer Musts
With Summer here, the opportunity for little weekend getaways is definitely greater. My husband and I don't have any kids so there's little holding us back from little spontaneous road trips. Whether it's driving to a nearby city or staying at the in-laws for the weekend, I always like to be prepared. I try to keep things pretty organized when packing so it was a no brainer to use my One Truffle Clairity Pouch to hold all my essentials. This little bag is my favorite because it's completely functional (and chic). Inside my bag, I carry a few of my "Summer Musts". These include items that I use on a daily basis or here and there. Whether you tend to overpack or keep things simple, here are some products you are going to want to try this season.
Chantacaille Rice and Geranium Cleanser: I know I've written about this stuff before, but I still can't get over this cleanser. It's the absolute best of the best! You only have to use a dot (like smaller than a pea size) and it really foams up and gets off every trace of make up. I love to use it with my Clarasonic Face Brush to get a deep clean. Try it, you won't regret it!
Loreal Silky Sheer Tinted BB Cream with SPF 50+: This is a great sunscreen to have on hand when you are going to be out in the sun. It's super sheer ...
The Packing List | Dallas to NYC
Today starts my official "spring break" (and it's my birthday)! To celebrate, my husband surprised me with a trip to Boston and NYC...I couldn't be more excited! I have never been to Boston and he has never been to NYC, so this will be a fun trip for both of us. We'll leave tomorrow morning and stay in Boston Tuesday and fly out to NYC Thursday Morning. Our flight super early tomorrow morning, so I am spending the day cleaning, packing, and of course doing some last minute shopping. These are a few of the items that I will be packing with me on my trip and some that I hope to get while in the city!

Holiday Sweater Cardigan
I love a good cardigan. Being a teacher, that probably doesn't surprise you, but I love to wrap myself in a cozy sweater or cardi. Typically, I try to find cardigans that are long enough to wear leggings or those really skinny jeans. I also like them to be a tad oversized. Obviously, it was easy for me to fall in love with this Holiday Sweater Cardigan from Shop Bella C. It's so soft and perfect to throw on when going out and about. With the temperatures constantly changing in Dallas, I want pieces that will be easy to throw on and layer. Can't wait to wear this throughout the season! Happy Friday! Things are going on a bit differently over in the Robertson household this morning. For one, I am writing to you from the comfort of my own living room and at a normal time! For those who don't know, I teach during the day, so my posts are usually written at the wee hours of the morning. So a 9 A.M. post feels like a vacation. I decided to take the day off as I was in much need of some R & R. Funny that my husband just so happens to have the day off as well! Coincidence? I am looking forward to a lazy day, mid morning brunch, squeezing in a tinsey bit of work, and then heading off to the Luxe event at Kendra Scott!
With all that being said, I am happy to share a little gift guide I put together for the holiday issue of To & From. I was so honored to be asked to contribute as this online gift guide is the bomb. Check out my picks on page 184 & 185. Thanks for reading! XX ...
Beauty Talk | Holiday Glam
This is my favorite time of the year! I can't get enough of crisp winter days, cozy sweaters, and of course getting glammed up for the holidays. Some of my favorite looks to try this season include a red lip, dark nails, and thick, bold lashes. Now that Kohl's Beauty Department is carrying national brands, I can easily find my favorites products from Lorac and Essie. ...

Happy Monday everyone! I am pretty pumped this morning because the hubs and I are off to Jamaica to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Hello, beach! We are so excited to have our toes in the sand and a fruity drink in hand. I've put together a little list of fun beach must haves that will be accompanying me on our trip...and some that would just be nice to have! These GOLD & GRAY tassel bracelets are a must must must!
