One thing my mom always taught was to take good care of my skin. Since I can remember, I have always taken the time to take care of my skin and invest in some pricy and not-so-pricy products. Although I was one of those who would wash her face every morning and night, I still would suffer from the occasional blemish. Yuck! Throughout my search for finding good products that worked for my skin, I finally found a few that seem to do the trick. Knock on wood.
01. Say Yes To Cucumbers Face Wipes: Simply the best! I dont know what it is, but I have tried EVERY face wipe and this is THE only one that does not make my face have some crazy reaction. I use it every day to take my makeup off. I also throw one in my gym or travel bag.
02. Caudalie Beauty Elixir: Well, I was very skeptical about this product at first, until I tried it. It's amazing! I am not one to lather on the moisturizer, as my skin is already oily, but I do know it's important to give my skin some moisture. This does just that. Not only is it refreshing but it gives my skin vitamins and nutrients without feeling ...

3 Tools to Create Natural and Full Looking Brows
It's time for April's edition of Beauty Buys, and this month I want to highlight the products I use to create natural looking brows.
If you're like me, you may have suffered from over-plucked brows in the 90s. And maybe into the early 2000s if we're being honest. What were we thinking? Pencil thin brows are not the way to go and in effort to get a full, natural-looking brow, I have got it down to a 2 or 3 product routine. Plus, I've finally found the one trick to make my brows grow. ...

5 Oversized Turtlenecks Worth Buying This Season
This season, I have been on the hunt for classic, oversized turtleneck sweaters. It seems like last year I found several options at Free People or H&M (this is still one of my favorites) but this season, I've had a hard time finding exactly what I wanted. Winter is still here in Texas and there's nothing I look forward to wearing more this time of year than my chunky sweaters. Is there anything cozier than soft knits? ...
The Packing List | Mexico
By now I'm sure we all can agree this cold weather has got to go. Being in Dallas we haven't experienced it quite like other areas, but I sure do miss patio weather. I can't help but dream of a sitting on a beach in Mexico!
In effort to make winter more bearable, Austin and I decided to plan a little "Winter Escape" in February. I'm heading to Cabo to work on a project for The Teacher Diva, but we decided to extend the trip a couple days and make a little getaway out of it.
Just as I’ve been counting down the days until this little trip, I’ve also been planning out my packing list. The thing I love about traveling to the beach is that you really don’t need much. I try to keep my packing limited to these essentials:
SWIMWEAR
What is a trip to the beach without fabulous (and affordable) swimwear? I am in love with these suits from Modcloth. I can't get over this Pastel One-Piece Swimsuit. The colors are so beautiful and I love the way it fits (I am always a fan of a cute one-piece)! I also found this high-wasted Two-Piece that will look great with my fringed and lace coverup. Speaking of coverups, I have been looking for a white ...

5 Shoe Styles We Are Seeing Everywhere (and will continue to wear in 2024)
It's definitely been the year of flats, and I have zero complaints. We've seen ballet flats to retro sneakers become quite popular again in 2023. Some would argue that they've always been popular, but as of late, it seems these styles are in demand more than most.
I've curated a selection that I believe will remain well-liked in 2024. And even if you're typically a devoted fan of heels, the picks below may just inspire a change of heart. Surprisingly, the variety of stylish flat shoe options is more extensive than one might expect. ...
