Last week, I mentioned how much I am loving the grid and windowpane print. It seems like many of you are digging the print as well! I've been noticing it a lot in accessories and recently in coats & sweaters. I saw this oversized cardigan and knew it would be a great addition to my winter wardrobe. It's perfect for layering under your favorite sweaters, turtlenecks ...

Maxi Cardigan Sweater
Fall is easily my favorite season to dress for. Cozy scarves, light layers and moto jackets are just a few of my go-to staples of the season. And since the weather in Dallas has been unseasonably warm, this maxi cardigan is the perfect addition. The color is perfect for Fall and I love the long length. ...
Under $100: The Perfect Fall Cardigan
A few years ago I had a beige open front poncho (similar to this one) that I wore everywhere. I literally wore it all the time as it was the perfect Fall accessory. After several years of wear, it had sadly seen better days. After an intense google search, I was thrilled to find this identical open front cardigan (under $100) at Nordstrom this past week. It looks so similar to my old one! ...

There are just some brands that make the best basics and Barefoot Dreams is one of them. Not only are their products incredible soft, but they are made to last. Fall Trend: The Hooded Cardigan
I guess you can say I was on somewhat of a Fall shopping spree with the Anniversary Sale going on. Though it is nowhere near time to wear sweaters in Dallas, I love the idea of gathering a few staples (all on sale) in anticipation for the upcoming Fall season starting with this Hooded Cardigan (under $50). ...
Striped Maxi Cardigan
Happy Friday! I am currently working from our patio with my little helper Lucy (I say that as she currently tries to chew on my shoelaces). The weather has been so nice in Dallas and we are trying to enjoy it as much as possible before it gets too hot! I wanted to share this causal look from last week with you. If you've followed for a while, you know how much I love cardigans. ...
Long Cardigan and White Distressed Denim

Cream Textured Cardigan
It's no secret that I love cardigans. I've worn my fair share of the classic cardigan back in my teaching days, but I love this Textured Wool Cardigan from French Connection. I also am excited to share that it is an extra 30% off code "XTRA30".
I've been wearing this cardigan non stop. It's an unexpected twist on the classic style we all know, and is the perfect option to throw over a blouse or sweater. If you're liking the monochromatic look, I suggest pairing it with these ivory cords and these metallic flats (or these nude flats).

Grey Shawl Cardigan
Often, I get questions about work appropriate outfits or how to dress up black skinnies. When I was teaching, I wore black skinnies almost every day. I kid you not, I had three pairs that I rotated and a pair of cropped skinnies that I would wear when it was hot. It was easy, comfortable and I loved the way they looked with round or pointed toe flats.
Now that we are transitioning to Fall, I love this Shawl Knit Coat. It's so soft and not too heavy. It actually feels more like a cardigan than a coat. This is the perfect example of what I would wear in the classroom or a office setting. My old classroom was notoriously cold, so you would always find me in layers. If you've read my blog for a while, you know I have a thing for cardigans! They really are my favorite fall accessory and they easily complete any look.

Pink Cardigan
Happy Monday! Is anyone else moving slow this morning? I am going out of town later this week and while I am very excited, I am also preparing for a very busy next few days. I spent this past weekend trying (key word: trying) get ahead with all my lessons and sub plans, attempt packing, and run a few last minute errands.
This pink cardigan was a cozy addition to my silk blouse. It's super soft and makes for a great transition piece. I loved pairing it with my leopard clutch and favorite nude pumps.
