In anticipation for Spring, I couldn't resist a bright floral dress, white blazer, and a great leather bag. I have been looking for a duffle/crossbody for quite a while. And when I came across Kelly Wynne Handbags, I knew I found the right one. The "I Duffle Dare You" bag was just what I was looking for. The navy embossed leather was a a fun spin on a traditional leather bag and I love that it can be worn in more than one way, as seen here.
Her collection of bags is nothing less than fabulous. Not only are her bags 100% leather, but everything is made in the USA. What bags are you feeling this season? I would love to hear your feedback! Please check out Kelly's new collection and let me know some of your favorite bags and colors! I am loving the Mingle Mingle Mini and the Risky Biz Wristlet... What are some of your favorites?

Today marks a very exciting day for Austin and I...it's our two year wedding anniversary! It's crazy how fast these two years flew by. It seems like just yesterday, we were planning our wedding. In short, marriage has been such a blessing. It's the best feeling knowing you get to share your life with your best friend. Here's to many more years! Cheers!

Spring Neutrals
It's official. Spring is here...finally! While it may not feel like Spring in some parts, Dallas is definitely feeling the warmer temps. When the weather heats up, I always reach for lighter colors, like pastels or neutrals. Typically all the bright or pastel colors are popular for Spring, but this year the runways have been filled with creams, blushes, and golds. I love the simple and subdued color palette. I’m a neutralist at heart, so this outfit is going to get a lot of love this season. It just feels so fresh.
When wearing neutrals, I always try to incorporate some type of color in my look. Whether bold or simple, it's an easy way to give your look a pop of color. Ell and Emm's jewelry caught my eye and I couldn't resist these Evil Eye Double Wrap bracelets. They are the perfect amount of edge and give just the right amount of color.
What looks are you excited for this Spring? Do you go for brighter colors or are you loving the shades of neutrals?
Travel Diaries | NYC
Part two of our little get away was spent in New York City. That city is probably one of my favorite places next to San Francisco. The skyline, restaurants, boutiques...I love it all. We arrived Thursday morning ready to see everything New York had to offer. To our surprise, we scored tickets to see The Letterman Show that afternoon. We weren't expecting to see Letterman nor are we "die-hard" fans, but it was actually pretty fun! I loved getting to see behind the scenes and being a part of a live audience. I also got to see one of my favorite actors, Bryan Cranston...I am a huge Breaking Bad fan.
Friday was our true full day in the city and we were determined to see as much as possible. We started out early and walked from our hotel to breakfast where we fueled ourselves with coffee and omelets at Sarabeths's before heading to Central Park. Central Park South is one of my favorite areas. It has so many quaint restaurants nestled on the street overlooking the park. It also is right off 5th Avenue so that is always a plus. Later that night we enjoyed The Lion King on Broadway. It was awesome!
Our favorite eats included Sarabeth's for brunch, Shake Shack for a late night shake, Juniors, Amarone (the best pasta), and Magnolia Bakery. When we weren't eating, we spent our time visiting the Natural History Museum, sipping coffee in the Plaza (A limousine and a cheese pizza anyone?), and walking around Times Square. Until next time, New York!
Boots With The Fur
With Spring quickly approaching, I am really wanting to reach for brighter colors. But there is something I love about the look of black. Last Saturday, we were in NYC and the weather was gorgeous. I was pretty excited to ditch the coat considering days before it was in the teens! This weather called for my favorite Equipment Blouse (told you they are addicting) and this faux fur vest from Nordstrom. It was the perfect get-up for running around town and of course brunching at Sarabeth's.
Wearing: Equipment Signature Slim Blouse // Lark Tiered Tassel Vest (runs big) // J Crew Denim (old, similar, similar) // Dolce Vita Over the Knee Boots (old, similar) // Celine Luggage Tote (similar) // Love Always Couture Rings (monogrammed, evil eye) c/o // Karen Walker
Travel Diaries | Boston
Sorry to be a little behind on postings, I am still playing catch up after arriving home late Sunday night. As some of you may know, my husband and I took a week off and went on a little vacation to the North East. It was a nice way to celebrate our upcoming two year wedding anniversary (March 24th)! We started our trip with Boston and ended it with NYC. It was such a fun little trip. Thank you so much for your comments and suggestions regarding places to eat, see and of course shop!
During our stay in Boston, we stayed at the Ames Boston Hotel (more details coming soon!) and spent our days walking around the beautiful city. Our favorites included walking the Freedom Trail, dining in The North End (highly recommend Bacco, Bricco and Dolce Vita) and of course indulging in sweet treats from Mikes Pastry (the best canolis ever) and Modern Bakery (try their french macaroons, yum!). One of my favorite dinners was at Legal Harborside. It was ...
A Good Idea
We're off to NYC today! I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am. I’m looking forward to walks along Central Park, macaroons from Magnolia Bakery, and of course some 5th avenue shopping (to name just a few things). While Boston was a blast, I am excited to be back in New York. Austin has never been to NYC, so I hope to show him all the hot spots and see some new things as well.
If you have any places for eats or treats, please let us know! We are always looking for new suggestions!

Camel + Black
Hello from Boston! Austin and I arrived here yesterday and we are enjoying every second. This city is absolutely beautiful and the weather could not be better. I was pretty nervous with all the talk about the cold front moving in (I know, it's still coming) but it's actually been really nice.
Since my clothing was limited to what could fit in my suitcase, I knew I had to trust the basics and stick with my camel belted coat (similar) and black wool scarf (similar). Not only do I love the color combo, but I love this classic look. I also layered up on some of my favorite bracelets by Love Always Couture and Lola James Jewelry. Today, we plan to hit up our favorite coffee spot, walk the harbor, and visit some of our favorite bakeries. To see more of our trip be sure to follow along via Instagram!
The Packing List | Dallas to NYC
Today starts my official "spring break" (and it's my birthday)! To celebrate, my husband surprised me with a trip to Boston and NYC...I couldn't be more excited! I have never been to Boston and he has never been to NYC, so this will be a fun trip for both of us. We'll leave tomorrow morning and stay in Boston Tuesday and fly out to NYC Thursday Morning. Our flight super early tomorrow morning, so I am spending the day cleaning, packing, and of course doing some last minute shopping. These are a few of the items that I will be packing with me on my trip and some that I hope to get while in the city!

Beauty Talk | Kate Somerville
Right now, I am focusing on getting the healthiest skin possible. I Clarisonic three times a week, use Glam Glow (review coming soon!) and now I am trying Kate Somerville. This is a brand you need to know! Skin care is a huge part of my daily routine and I am always on the hunt for the latest and greatest in the skin care world. Everyone has unique skin, and Kate has developed a variety of products all based on different skin types. Using top-of-the-line ingredients, she ranks very high in the industry.
After experimenting with her different products, I found these to be the ones that worked best for me. The Purify Clarifying Cleanser is amazing. It's a cream based cleanser and totally removes every last trace of makeup. It's soft and gentle so it doesn't irritate my skin. The Nourish Daily Moisturizer is super light and gentle. I only use one pump and it is enough to cover my entire face. I like it because it contains Vitamin A, C and E, Retinyl and antioxidants to keep skin healthy and smooth. I still struggle with breakouts so this light-weight formula is great for my combination skin. Every item in Kate's skincare line has been developed in the Clinic, scientifically tested, and ...
