Just like bell sleeves, ruffles are making a huge statement this year. From ruffled hem lines on tops & pants, to ruffled sleeves, it's a fun way to change up your day to day look. ...

Wearing Florals and Stripes for Spring
Many may argue that florals and stripes are the key components in a Spring wardrobe. And I have to agree! These patterns instantly make us think of Spring and today, my sister-in-law Megan (you may remember her from our NYC trip in December!) and I, are sharing a few of our favorites from LOFT. The newest collection is full of patterns, colors and texture's - perfect to freshen up your Spring wardrobe. ...
The Jacket You Can Wear Now Through Spring
We all have those pieces in our closet we wish we could wear year round. And if you're like me, you love finding a versatile piece that can be worn with things already in your closet. This lightweight jacket immediately caught my eye as the perfect jacket you can wear now through Spring. ...
Wear to Work: The Perfect Sweater Dress
There's just something about a "grid pattern" that has me intrigued. Ever since buying this top (worn here) over the Summer, I have been on the hunt for more accessories & tops in a similar print. I guess it could be that it's a refreshing break from my go-to "stripes", but either way I love the geometric print. I first saw this windowpane wool & cashmere scarf weeks ago and immediately scooped it up. This past weekend I finally had the opportunity to wear it and I loved the way it looked with this mock turtleneck sweater dress from Nordstrom. This dress is a great option for Fall & Winter because it's both practical and work appropriate (be sure to read below for sizing tips). ...
Fall Work Wear
It's finally starting to feel like Fall in Dallas and it is such a nice break from the heat. However, I'm not sure if this cool weather is here to stay. Texas is notorious for having 90° weather up until October. Fingers crossed though!
With Fall on the brain, I wanted to share a new Wear To Work outfit featuring this Open Knit Sweater and (the softest) Knit Jogger Pants. ...
Summer Work Wear
I am so excited to share a new series/category that I will be featuring on The Teacher Diva called, Wear To Work. I get many emails requesting work outfit inspiration and I am looking forward to incorporating more work wear options on TTD. Although I am no longer in the classroom (you can read more about that here), I do find myself looking for office appropriate clothing to wear when I have brand visits or lunch meetings. ...
How to Wear Jogger Pants
Today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite looks for fall. I love this look because it can easily be dressed up for work or down for something a bit more casual. I've never owned anything army green (except for this moto jacket) so I was pretty excited to find how easy these are to wear with other neutrals, pops of color and patterns.
I found these pants when I was searching for some new fall gear, and immediately fell in love with them. They are soft, comfortable and pair well with so many different tops and shoes. So, if you're wondering how you can swing these for work, I suggest pairing with a chambray top or white blouse if the t-shirt is too casual. I also have worn these pants with these sandals and these flats in case you're on your feet most of the day (for flats, those both offer decent support).
See below for more of my favorite jogger pants. Thanks for stopping by! xx
Weekend Wear
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! I don't know about you but I sure did enjoy an extra day to sleep in and do some things on our new house. We finally got around to getting our night stands (added a little DIY touch...more coming soon), hung some curtains and bought some new items for decorating. Nothing big, just things we needed to get done!
Over the weekend I wore this feather print tunic, new boyfriend jeans and (the best) leather tote for a long brunch followed by errands. Side note: I was so scared to try boyfriend jeans (especially because I ordered these online-sized down!) but once I got past the fact that yes, they are more "relaxed", I quickly grew to love them. A fun tunic paired with good denim is my kind of weekend wear.

Wear To Work
I'm a sucker for a silk blouse. It's the most versatile thing I own and in my opinion, something every gal needs to have on hand. Recently I was introduced to Bradamant, a brand that makes silk tops a little differently. You see, this is actually a body suit that I am wearing. You read that right, a body suit! When I first heard about Bradamant, I was totally impressed. Not only is their suit totally practical, but it's so easy to wear. I love not having to worry about shirt lines or wrinkles through out the day.
Many of you ask about my professional wardrobe and this would definitely be a look I would sport to school. It's comfortable and lets me move easily. I would swap the pink pumps for some cute leopard flats.

Beauty Talk | Clarins Double Serum
Last month, I mentioned the Clarins Giveaway featuring the Double Serum and since then, I have been looking forward to this review! Thank you for all who entered by using the tag #30DaysofBeautiful on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook! It has been so fun looking through the hashtag pictures and seeing what you all posted.
Since my first post introducing the Clarins Double Serum, I have been determined to use this product daily. Even with my sensitive skin this stuff is super gentle. The serum is pretty concentrated so you only need to use one pump every morning and night. Within the first 7 days of using the Double Serum, I noticed a difference in my skins texture and appearance. My skin looks instantly hydrated and feels amazing. I tend to suffer from the occasional break out, and this stuff helped keep all of that under control. Anything that can hydrate and keep my skin clear is a winner in my book! I look forward to using more of the Clarins products in my daily skin care routine.
