When it comes to my Spring and Summer beauty routine, I like to keep things as simple as possible. I look for double-duty products that will last during hot Summer days all while keeping that subtle glow. I took these products with me while we were in Mexico and I am excited to share with you some of my current makeup favorites. LONG WEAR FOUNDATION WITH SPF
I always make sure to use SPF year round, but I pay special attention to my sunscreen during the Spring & Summer. I love that It Cosmetics adds SPF to their popular CC Cream. My favorite is the CC Illuminating Cream 50+ SPF (I wear the color Medium). Ya'll, this stuff is amazing. I tried the original formula, and it just wasn't for me. Today's post is short and sweet, but I wanted to share that this grey and white scarf (or wrap, depending on how you wear it) is on sale at Club Monaco. I found this little gem with my Mom last week, and I feel in love with how soft it was and the size. It's perfect for wearing as a traditional scarf, or thrown over your shoulder as a wrap. Looking forward to wearing this many times with the colder weeks ahead! PS: My turtleneck is also on sale!
A few of you have been asking for sandal recommendations and swimsuit (!) suggestions (I can't believe it's time to start thinking about switching seasons) so I will do a little round up this week. When it comes to my wardrobe, I’m notoriously drawn to neutrals, stripes, basic whites and black pieces. However, I couldn't help but fall in love with these magenta flats (on sale) from Nine West. I loved the pop of color with this Black Ruffled Blouse from ChicWish.
These are perfect for Fall and if you're on your feet all day. Black and pink are always happy colors to me. I loved pairing the two together for this look!

It's so important to hydrate all year, but especially in the upcoming season. I have used Kiehls for many years and recently got a sample of the Daily Reviving Concentrate and Midnight Recovery Concentrate. I loved it so much I wanted to get a larger size. Hi everyone and happy Monday! I know last week I wasn't around too much and that is only because it was the last week of school. If you are a teacher or have friends who are teachers, you only know how crazy it can be! With that being said, I am very excited that Summer is here and I am super excited to work on some exciting projects that have been on hold during these next few months.
Now, let's talk stripes. This is a print that will always be a favorite of mine and if you saw my closet you would know I have a hard time saying no to a striped top. However, this past year, I started cleaning out the things I never wear and really looking for those key pieces that will always be in style and remain a wardrobe staple. Like this Striped Button Down Blouse (similar style here and here) .
When it comes to stripes, I typically buy black and white or navy and white, but this grey/blue and white combo really sold me. The versatility is endless!

Over the past year, I've really been trying to invest in wardrobe staples that don't seem to go out of style. As much as I love a silk blouse, they can definitely be hard on the wallet. Equipment is one of my favorite brands for silk pieces, but recently I tried this version from Vince Camuto (and it's under $100!)

This past weekend it has been nothing but storms in Dallas. All of us here in North Texas are definitely ready for the sunshine!
This breezy top (under $40) has summer written all over it and I can't wait to wear this out and about in my go to denim shorts (seen here, be sure to size down). I've said this before, but I love white for summer. It's clean and simple look always puts off a classic vibe.
