The Holiday Collection Under $100

In an effort to be ahead of the game this year with my holiday shopping, I’ve started early with some budget friendly buys. You may have seen my ideas for her (here and here) but I know it's nice to have some options at all price points! I absolutely love this PJ Short Set. I have them in the blue (true to size) and they are so incredibly soft. I definitely wouldn't mind getting another pair! I also love this little sleep mask. And at $14, it's great to give your best girlfriends or secret santa. I just purchased these grey over the knee boots (available in black here). Michael Kors Holiday

Without a doubt my favorite seasons are Fall & Winter. I love this time of year for many reasons, but especially for the holidays. With November just around the corner, I am so excited to team up with Michael Kors and share some pieces from their holiday collection.  You all know I wear this boyfriend watch almost daily, so I couldn't wait to see what new pieces they came out with for the holidays. For me, I am more of a minimalist when it comes to jewelry, but for the holiday I always like to add a little sparkle.  I love how these pieces provide a subtle, yet glamorous touch, whether they're worn to a cocktail party or holiday brunch with friends. My favorite piece has to be the mesh crystal necklace or rounded mesh bangles. I am a big fan of mixing gold and silver and these are perfect for stacking or worn alone. Back To School Guide for Under $100

Well, the first week of school is officially here and it's just as bittersweet as I imagined. After talking to my fellow teacher friends last night, it was fun to reminisce on the past 6 years (see my classroom here, here and here), share crazy stories, and laugh about good times. I am just reminded of how amazing all of you teachers are. I wish all of you the best of luck with your new classroom and a wonderful start of the year! I have received many emails regarding back to school fashion, from both teachers and students. I wanted to share with you some of my favorite looks for back to school, keeping in mind that they can be for both teacher or student. Almost every item is under $100. These are great because they can be mixed and matched with things you probably already own. Plus they make great transition pieces for Fall. Swimsuit Guide

Spring Break is upon us and that can only mean two things. 1. Warmer weather is near (yay!) and 2. Find that perfect swimsuit. While I won't be by the beach this week, I do know I have a few upcoming beach trips that will require a new suit and most importantly an adorable cover up! Gift Guide | Be Mine

With Valentine's just around the corner, I wanted to share some inspiration whether you are giving or receiving. We are doing a fun gift exchange at school, so I have been on the hunt for budget friendly gifts. I am loving this "Blah Blah Blah" Mug and this monogramed notepad. Both are under $30 and are so fun for work or play. I am also wanting to invest in a blush bag. I love this one from Tory Burch  and the crossbody option is an added bonus! I just purchased that Nars Lipgloss in the color "Angleika" and it is by far one of my favorite pinks. I usually stick to more of a subdued shade, but this pop of pink was the right touch for spring. A Girls Guide to a Classic Timepiece

It's no question that I love watches. Not only are they practical, but they are a fun accessory to wear and can make any "arm party" look on point. Funny thing is, I never really wore a watch until I started student teaching my senior year in college. I remember all I wanted for Christmas that year was this gold Michael Kors watch (and it's still going strong after all these years!). Throughout the years, I've attempted to step up my watch game by investing in a few more timepieces. I wanted more options to wear on different occasions. I was looking for an oversized gold and black watch and one that was a little smaller and more simple but with a leather band. I went to Nordstrom to shop their collection and I loved that they had something a all price points. I wasn't ready to make a huge investment, but I knew I wanted a quality timepiece that would last for years to come. I found this Michael Kors watch and it has been one of my favorites as of late. Gift Guide | Valentines Day

With Valentine's Day less than a month away, I can't help but "think pink". While flowers and candy are nice, let's think outside the box this year. I've gathered a few of my favorite gifts (both luxury and steals) that are more than welcomed for the upcoming holiday.
