When my dermatologist recommended this at-home facial, I knew it was going to be good. I love all things skin and beauty related, which probably explains why I'm always asking a ton of questions when I talk to her (yes, I'm that annoying client). I also follow several dermatologists and estheticians on Instagram — I love accounts that teach me how to care for my skin. ...

FALL STYLE GUIDE: Shoes
Hey guys! Hope you had a great Labor Day weekend! We headed out to the lake and had such a great last weekend of summer. But let's be honest, we still have quite a few summer days here in Texas.
Anyways, though, let's talk fall since that's what on my mind! If you missed the kick-off to the Fall Style Guide last week, I share all the details of it HERE, including what's to come. My first post was on Basics & Everyday Style and today I'm covering shoes. It's one of my favorite parts of fall shopping and I can't wait to be living in booties, moto boots, and slingbacks. Since I have a feeling this fall will be pretty low-key, I also included several sneakers and lounge shoes.
What's your favorite pair on the list? xx Ashley

Bedtime Dry Shampoo Hack
If you want to prolong your blowout, this is the trick to keep your hair looking fresh. Because of this hack, I am down to washing my hair once (maybe twice) a week. Which is honestly a pretty big accomplishment for me. I have thick hair and ever since having George, it's been more oily at the roots. Weird, right?
I have to use a dry shampoo that gives me a powdery white finish and a little grit. Trust me, the white powder will go away if you follow these steps. ...

What I Do When I Want the “No Makeup” Makeup Look
Since my skin has recently cleared up, I've been taking advantage of the "no makeup" makeup look. Which is honestly a misleading term, because you definitely wear makeup, just not a full face. These products will get the job done if you want a little bit of color, SPF, bold brows and plump lips. ...
How I Finally Stuck to a Gratitude Practice
I should start this off by saying that I've always tried to be a grateful person. It's something that through faith, loss, and just trying to remain a positive person in general, has been a priority in my life. Now, that's not to say that I don't have days where I find myself down or taking something for granted - because I definitely do. And I actually noticed my gratitude slipping from my priority list. I still felt/feel internally grateful all the time but I was missing a more concrete gratitude practice - at least one that stuck. ...
