I've been on the hunt for a "Spring" blazer for quite a while. I have a floral one that I wear time to time but I wanted something a little more neutral. Little Pink Dress
Now that the temps are warming up, dresses are making an appearance on a regular basis around here. The weather in Dallas is actually pretty nice right now so I was excited to add a dress into my attire this week. When the weather in Dallas is "nice" you have to take full advantage. Since the time frame is so limited, we have been outside or dining on the patio every chance we get.

Beauty Talk is one of my favorite series on The Teacher Diva. While I love the fashion, I also love reviewing beauty and skin care products and giving you all feedback. I guess it stems back to my years working in a beauty salon and constantly working with customers to help them find the best products for their skin and hair. I loved researching and trying everything! It was such a fun job and now I am excited I get to share my favorites with you guys.
A trend that is so hot for Spring this year is pink! While I may not have a ton of pink in my wardrobe, I do have a lot in my makeup bag. I just picked up this YSL Lipstick in color #9 and I can't stop wearing it. It looks a little mauve-y in these pictures, but it really is a great pink. The guy at the makeup counter said "It's the most flattering shade and looks great on all skin tones". Of course that sold me instantly, but when I tried it, I completely agreed! I have also worn it with the YSL Golden Gloss in #49 for a brighter pop of color.

Ready or not, dress season is on it's way. The time to sport higher hemlines and open-toed shoes. While, temps outside may say otherwise, Spring will be here before we know it. Personally, I can't wait! Wishful thinking has me planning a beach vayca and of course, scoping out some colorful spring dresses.
Anthropologie has an amazing collection of spring dresses right now. This little number caught my eye when I was looking for something to wear for the Glitter Guide Valentine's Brunch. Happy Monday! This past week we have been dog sitting for my parents. I have LOVED every minute of it because that means I get to take care of my parent's dog, Missy. She's the pup we got when I was a freshman in college so she isn't technically mine, but I still refer to her as my dog. My little brother, Drake would strongly disagree. Austin and I currently do not have any pets, so this totally feeds my desire to become a pet owner. However, it also reminds me of the huge responsibility and time it takes to have a dog. While I absolutely love dogs, it's just not the right time for us. However, pet-sitting for a week is perfect. Here are a few shots from a trip to the park with this sweet Boston Terrier, Missy.

During our trip to San Francisco last month I had a chance to visit the Forever 21 boutique located in Union Square. The 3-story store was so much more than I imagined. Forever 21 is my favorite store to buy trendy tops or basics. It's cheap and (hate to say it) usually doesn't last too long, but it's great place to get my trend fix. I saw this pink blouse hanging in the window and knew that it belonged in my closet. It is a favorite of mine and the quality is up to par. The options are endless for this baby. After all, who can resist a bright pink blouse?
