Back in college, Rent the Runway was my go-to for formals or social events. I could rent a gown or cocktail dress without having to commit to a hefty price tag and still wear the designer dress of my dreams. And though I've been out of college for a little while, I still find this service to be effective.
About a year ago, I was introduced to Rent the Runway Unlimited. And it changed the way I shop for clothing. Basically, this service lets you choose up to 4 designer items at a time. And the best part, you can keep them for as long as you'd like or swap them out for something new. PS: To clear the air, this is something I've paid for, no discounts, just a fan who loves this service. Thankfully they took note and I've done a couple of partnerships with RTR throughout the year, but the subscription is something I purchase and keep up with on my own.
I've talked about it a lot on my Instagram Stories and had several questions pop up regarding how this works. Hopefully answering these questions helps you decide if this service is right for you! And be sure to keep reading because I'm sharing a special promo for TTD readers. ...

Cozy Spring Wrap
It's been a rather chilly spring in Dallas and I've been using every opportunity to wrap up in this soft poncho. I originally bought this wrap to use while traveling with my maternity leggings. It reminds me so much of this Alpaca Wrap (but a fraction of the cost). ...
Where I’m Shopping for Maternity Jeans
Although many women might tell you the last thing they want to wear while pregnant is jeans, I have to disagree. Being someone who wears denim all the time, I knew I wanted to find a few pairs that would be staples throughout my pregnancy. I tried several brands, styles and found 5 that I considered the most versatile, comfortable and ideal for those with growing bumps. ...
This $8 Shampoo and Conditioner Made My Hair So Soft — And it’s Sulfate-Free.
As someone who has colored and heat-styled her hair regularly for the past 15 years, my hair care routine is something that I take into careful consideration. And while it might be enticing to shop at luxury beauty stores to find the latest and greatest, hey I can be guilty of it too, regularly incorporating these types of products into our routine isn't the healthiest strategy long-term for our bank accounts. And higher price tags don't always mean it's a better product.
About a month ago, I started to try my luck at this $8 shampoo and conditioner by Hair Food. What originally caught my eye (besides the price tag) was that it is made from pure ingredients and free of parabens, mineral oils, silicones, sulfates and dyes. The proof of the power of these ingredients lies in the results. And my hair is all the better for it. ...
How I Use The Tom Ford Soleil Glow Drops
It all started back in November when I saw my favorite Vogue beauty editors sampling the Tom Ford Soleil Glow Drops. I was mesmerized to see these drops give the most beautiful, natural glow. I admit, I drink the Tom Ford Beauty kool-aid. I pay for their overpriced lipsticks and primers, but in my defense, I have yet to try something from Tom Ford Beauty that I don't love. I figured it might be the same for these drops. ...

Travel in Style with Personalized Luggage + Accessories
It's no secret I love a good monogram, especially when it's on my luggage or travel accessories. The Daily Edited (the brand who also makes my painted phone case) recently just launched their Black Suitcase. And best of all? It can be personalized with your name or monogram. ...
A Spring Blazer + Graphic Tee = My Favorite Combo
Even at 29 weeks pregnant, I'm still finding ways to wear a graphic tee and blazer. Which if you're a regular around here, you know it's always my go-to. It's truly the ultimate approach to an effortless, easy-going style. ...
The Shopbop Sale Just Started. Here’s What’s On My List.
Ah, it's that time of year again when Shopbop launches its sitewide sale. This is a great time to pick up a few spring and summer pieces or grab those sunglasses you've had your eye on for a while. Below, I've rounded up a few clothing pieces, both maternity and not, in addition to shoes + accessories. ...
What I’ve Learned About Grief in the Past Year
2018 was one of the best years of my life, and it was also one of the most difficult. From exciting moments like moving into our new house and growing our team to, of course, finding out we were going to have a baby this spring, there were some life-long dreams happening. But with the devastating loss of our dear Lucy (our 2.5 year old French Bulldog) and going through a miscarriage, it was also a year that felt lonely, sad, and extremely heavy. There were many times that it was hard to focus on all the things that were going "right" when we were dealing with such loss. ...
