Back in college, Rent the Runway was my go-to for formals or social events. I could rent a gown or cocktail dress without having to commit to a hefty price tag and still wear the designer dress of my dreams. And though I've been out of college for a little while, I still find this service to be effective.
About a year ago, I was introduced to Rent the Runway Unlimited. And it changed the way I shop for clothing. Basically, this service lets you choose up to 4 designer items at a time. And the best part, you can keep them for as long as you'd like or swap them out for something new. PS: To clear the air, this is something I've paid for, no discounts, just a fan who loves this service. Thankfully they took note and I've done a couple of partnerships with RTR throughout the year, but the subscription is something I purchase and keep up with on my own.
I've talked about it a lot on my Instagram Stories and had several questions pop up regarding how this works. Hopefully answering these questions helps you decide if this service is right for you! And be sure to keep reading because I'm sharing a special promo for TTD readers. ...
My Ruffle One-Piece Swimsuit I Wore in Palm Springs
I was so excited to get a glimpse of warmer weather on our babymoon but had a little trouble when it came to swimsuits. I've mentioned before that I'm not really a fan of "maternity fashion" and that was certainly true when it came time to shop for swimsuits. I made it my goal to find a few options that were bump-friendly without being too cheeky or revealing (that post is coming soon) and really lucked out with a few. After all, this is your time to proudly show off your bump and not worry about sucking in at the pool. Win-win. ...
What I Packed For Our Babymoon to Palm Springs
Hello from Palm Springs! Austin and I are here on a little babymoon/last Valentine's Day before the baby. It has been super chill and very relaxing, to say the least, which is everything we wanted in a babymoon. We are also getting to see my family next week in Orange County, which will be a nice addition to the trip as well. ...
White Accessories I’m Loving for Spring and Summer
My white handbags and shoes are starting to make their debut and just like many of you, I am loving this trend. With warmer weather on the horizon (c'mon March!) I am starting to look for white accessories to wear this spring and summer. ...
The Striped Shirtdress You Can Wear Now and Later
A good shirtdress is a closet staple. It's versatile, easy to wear, and something you can almost wear year round. At least that's what I thought when I found this striped shirtdress a few weeks ago. ...
The Hair Accessories I Want to Try this Season
I’m usually pretty simple when it comes to my hairstyle — I like loose curls, piecey layers and a somewhat "undone" approach to my everyday hairdo. But lately, I’ve had so much fun with hair bows and headbands. There’s definitely a trend we are seeing in wearing accessories like silk ribbons, scrunchies and headbands. Not only is this the perfect solution to second (or third) day hair styling, but it also offers a youthful feel without being too childlike. ...
Currently Loving: Pink Check Jacket
Whenever August rolls around, the urge to shop for fall starts to kick in. While I’m definitely enjoying all things summer — breezy dresses and slip-on sandals to be exact — I’m also really looking forward to bringing out my cozy layers. Until then, I'm doing what I can to get the best of both. And this is the kind of jacket that will take you from now straight into September. The color, print, and fit are everything I look for in a jacket. ...
One Top – Two Ways
It's been a while since I've done a "one style, two ways" type of post and when I heard about White House Black Market's latest "Reversible Collection", I knew you would be just as curious as I was.
I've shopped at WHBM for years. In my mind, they have always been my go-to for a little black dress and classic pieces that would stay in my wardrobe for years. But more recently I've been drawn to their casual tops and denim (do you remember this pair - ah some of my favorite jeans ever). ...
Here’s What We Did on Our Trip to 30A Florida
Earlier this summer, Austin and I went to 30A with the Robertson crew. We had several of you ask for a travel guide on things to do, places to eat or where to stay, so it only made sense to put everything here in a blog post. My apologies this post has taken a minute to go live. Our home projects are in full swing and are taking up more of our time than originally expected. Funny how that goes, right? But I am happy to finally share a little guide from our recent trip to Rosemary, Beach. ...
4 Lipsticks I’m Loving This Summer
The summer season is all about a little color on the lips and if you're like me, you tend to stick with soft pinks, peachy hues, and nudes. But what's the best brands to try for a longwear and hydrating formula? This is a question I get asked often and was actually inspired to write this post based on recent emails and DM requests. You'll often find each of these 4 lipsticks in my makeup bag and on rotation throughout the week.
So to take the guesswork out of your summer lip game, I've selected my tried-and-true nude and pink lipsticks for every occasion below.
