I like to shop at various places but my favorite stores include ASOS, Nordstrom, Loft and Shopbop. These are nice because they make it easy to search for clothes at all price points. Another budget friendly store is H&M. They are much more affordable than most and I’ve been able to find some nice, quality pieces.
After spending many hours in prayer and thoughtful planning, I have decided to step down from teaching and focus on building this website and brand.
You can read more about this decision here.
We have a lot of exciting things coming in 2016 and I can’t wait to share them with you. Thank you for your continued support and kind words!
While I was teaching, it was important for me to have a professional attire in the classroom. Teachers are important role models. Even 6 years old catch on to the subtleties of dressing professionally. I wanted my students to remember the importance of coming to the classroom prepared and professional. But let’s also be realistic. No, I did not wear silk or heels or pant suits. However, I did spend some time planning my outfits. I learned to invest in certain pieces that I wore regularly.
For work attire, I loved to shop at Loft, J Crew (can’t forget about J Crew Factory) and Nordstrom. I lived in these black jeans and these black pants. They were easy to clean and worth the investment considering I wore them weekly. I often paired them with longer tops (a great option) and flats (I love these and these) .
If you need something a little more dressy, I love this dress or this skirt. Both are super versatile.
I have a few techniques that I follow! Here are a few of my tutorials posted here and here.
