How to Style a Swimsuit and Coverup

Summer travels are in full swing and I can’t help but start looking at swimwear for our upcoming vacations. Between our recent trip to California, family vacations to Mexico and a bachelorette weekend in San Diego, I am needing versatile options that will take me from resort to beach. I’ve been getting a few questions on my favorite swimwear and cover ups, so I wanted to share this look from our trip to Tarrenea last week.

You may recognize this Black Long Duster from this post a few weeks ago. I love that I can wear it with jeans or a swimsuit. Maxi coverups are a big trend we are seeing this season and I am all for it. Black is known for being a slimming color option, so when looking for swimwear, it’s usually one of the first colors I shop for. I loved this swimsuit, but since it has a floral pattern, I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit very simple. This black duster was the perfect compliment.

A full-length coverup like this, leaves just enough to the imagination while still catching the ocean breeze.
