Like I’ve mentioned before, I really want to be a “Betty Homemaker” but let’s face it…I am seriously cooking challenged! I go to the easy, basic stuff, then try to add my own spin on it to make it a little more “homemade”. So here’s my take on basic beef tacos.
Austin was a big fan of these bad boys. Maybe he was just being nice?..you be the judge…
enjoy!
Oopsies…forgot to include the main ingredient here…cheese!
But here they are listed:
1/2 Onion
1lb Ground Beef or Turkey
1 bag Frontera Taco Skillet Sauce
Mixed Fiesta Cheese
Cilantro & tomato {for toppings}
Black Beans

Chips & Salsa (because it wouldn’t be complete with out it)
1. Chop 1/2 the onion and put it in the skillet to brown.
2. Add meet to your skillet.
By this time your house should be smellin’ all kinds of delicious. Once your meet is browned go ahead and add the Texas Taco Skillet Sauce {Market Street had a few different flavors…I decided this might be the safest to experiment with first}
Stir sauce for a couple minutes and you will be able to tell that it is ready.
Like I said…a super easy and delicious take on your {not so basic} beef taco.
Happy Cooking!
