It’s no secret that I love the fair. Not just any fair, but the Texas State Fair. Nothing is quite like it. It’s a great time of year for many reasons… 1. Fall is quickly approaching 2. Cooler weather is on the way (hopefully!) and 3. It takes me back to sweet memories with my husband. We go to the fair every year and always partake in one crazy food item and one Fletcher’s Corn Dog. This year I didn’t get to crazy and just went straight for the fried oreo. So good! If you are coming to the fair I recommend this site to help guide you. It gives you a detailed schedule of all the events and fills you in on all the delicious food options. My top picks- Fletcher’s Corn Dogs (a must), fried oreos, bacon cinnamon rolls, fried nutella (didn’t try it but everyone who did raved about it), and salt water taffy.
