This is my favorite time of the year! I can’t get enough of crisp winter days, cozy sweaters, and of course getting glammed up for the holidays. Some of my favorite looks to try this season include a red lip, dark nails, and thick, bold lashes. Now that Kohl’s Beauty Department is carrying national brands, I can easily find my favorites products from Lorac and Essie.
Essie is hands down, the best polish I have ever used. Having over 160 bottles of nail polish, I feel qualified to make such a statement. This season, I am loving fun colors such as Twin Sweater Set and Sole Mate.
Some favorites from Lorac include Lorac Pro Mascara, Starry Eyed Baked Eyeshadow, Lorac Pro Cream Eyeliner, and Lorac Lip Lustre Lip Gloss. Lorac Pro Mascara is simply amazing. The cone shaped wand separates your lashes and gives volume and lift. I wear this with the Lorac Pro Cream Eyeliner. I’ve always used a cream eyeliner and this is yet to disappoint. I don’t have to worry about this smearing or fading through out the day. Lorac Lip Lustre in Ruby Lustre is the perfect winter red. It’s right in the middle between a true cherry red and a burgundy which is complimentary to most skin tones. Cheers to the new season!
