I used to think that wearing all black was overwhelming, however my mind has changed since I found these black lace shorts. I wanted a look that would be nice for a night out and decided to mix shades of black with this Equipment Silk Blouse and this black blazer (now on sale) to throw on later. I like the idea of sticking to one color palette, but this would work just as well with a white blouse or dressed down with chambray and flats.
Wearing: Equipment Signature Silk Blouse (True To Size) | Black lace Shorts (I love this similar option and this version) | Nude Strap Pumps (Steve Madden Similar Pair) | Celine Luggage Tote (Rebecca Minkoff similar version) | Gorjana Griffin Tanner Bar Necklace, Mika Lariat Necklace, Teagan Gold Ring c/o | Michael Kors Slim Runway Watch | ILY Couture Gold Chain Bracelet c/o | Wanderlust Gold XL Spike Cuff c/o |

The different fabrics and shades of black look great together! I always struggle with all black, but think it can look so classy when done right (and this is the right way to wear it, btw).

I do too, I was even a little weary of this but I was really happy with the way the blacks meshed. I think the two different shades helped out! Thanks for reading!

Just found you on Pinterest and I’m so glad I did! Love your style and classic looks. Also, are you a teacher too? Pretty cool that you do this plus teach. You must be the most stylish teacher at your school! Can’t wait to follow and see what else you post. Kisses!
