Happy Thanksgiving Eve! Today we are on our way to Austin’s Grandmothers house in New Boston, Texas to spend some time with my in-laws for Thanksgiving. We go every year and it’s something that we all look forward to! It’s just nice to have a couple of days away from the city and relax. We plan to go to the Robertson Farm, play cards, and enjoy some of Grandmothers delicious cooking. Yum!
When I started to pack for our trip, I knew I wanted to keep it simple. I am on a “big sweater” kick right now and this MICHAEL Michael Kors Turtleneck Poncho (on sale!) is just what I have been looking for. It’s the perfect length to throw over a pair of leggings or skinny jeans for an easy and casual look. I tossed that in my bag but opted for these black over the knee boots (also on sale) instead. I figured it might be nice to wear flats on such a busy day. I have been so impressed with the MICHAEL Michael Kors collection at Nordstrom that I couldn’t turn down this color block sweater too. I love the fit and the quality is top notch. My mom has already commented on how she plans to steal this from me. Ha, we will see about that! Have a great Thanksgiving! xx
