Thanks for your question! I linked the exact same top but I noticed the same thing on the website. Maybe it was the lighting they used for the pictures, but mine is not sheer at all. It is actually lined with two layers of fabric. The website is confusing, but I was pleasantly surprised! Hope that helps! XX Ashley
