Now that the warmer temps have found their way to Dallas, I am starting to take advantage of every opportunity to wear a dress or skirt. The 75 degree weather on Sunday was the perfect excuse to wear this Bell Sleeve Lace Dress to dinner with friends.
The cut-out-lace trend has made a huge influence in the fashion world and I am happy to share that it’s in full force this Spring. We’ve seen this trend on tops, skirts, pants and (my favorite) dresses.
I am loving this Bell Sleeve Lace Dress from JCPenney. It’s feminine, fun, and can easily be dressed up or down for the occasion. I opted to wear it with a simple pair of Brown Leather Wedges (I love the espadrille detailing), but for something a little more “dressy” I think it would look nice with a classic pair of nude pumps. My sister-in-law is getting married next month and I told her this would be the perfect “Bride-To-Be” dress for showers or even the Rehearsal Dinner. For something more casual, I like the idea of wearing it with gladiator (or lace-up) sandals.

OUTFIT DETAILS: Bell-Sleeve Lace Dress (fit: I found this to be more “fitted” than a shift dress,if you want it to fit like a shift dress, I suggest going up a size. I am wearing a size 4) | Lalisen Wedge Sandals (fit: These run a little small, I suggest going up at 1/2 size)
I love a white lace dress, they always work!
