Stripes and Cut Offs

If there’s one outfit I wear more this time of year, it’s my striped blouse and cut off denim shorts. I love the simplicity and ease of this look. Especially during the Summer!

When pairing a blouse with shorts, I like the blouse to fit a little oversized or relaxed. This Striped Blouse (on sale!) from Banana Republic was perfect. I usually wear their “Dillon Fit” tops and like the modern yet classic fit. They tend to fit more relaxed which makes them ideal for tucking into shorts or pants. The best part? They aren’t sheer! We all know how hard it is to find that “perfect” blouse without breaking the bank. It’s safe to say I own this top in pink too!

If you follow my instagram, you know I love a good pair of cut offs. These Denim Shorts have been my go-to the past two years. Yeah, they are pretty short, but they are so good! Since these are on the shorter side, I like to keep the top pretty modest. Just a personal preference, but I find that wearing it with sleeves or a loose fitting top keep it looking classy without giving away too much. Throw on your favorite wedges or flats and you are good to go!
