Happy Friday! Today is the beginning of public access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (meaning anyone can shop) and what better way than to share with you all a few of my favorite handbags, including my neutral tote bag.  If you’re not in the market for a new handbag, you can still see what I purchased from the sale or my Top 25 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks.  

Since I’m no longer in the classroom (if you are new to my blog, welcome! You can read about my journey here), I find my work bag looks much different than in the past. I’m no longer carrying home papers to grade, stickers & stamps, and laminate to cut out. However, I do find myself lugging my laptop and notebooks around to meetings or local coffee shops. Working from home is great, but sometimes it helps to have a change in scenery to get the creative juices flowing!

Since launching my Wear To Work series, many of you requested to see affordable work bag options. This Tote from Sole Society is one of my favorites. The faux leather looks clean, chic and the perfect size for all my necessities.

I can easily fit my laptop inside, along with my One Truffle Privacy Clutch, Tory Burch Wallet, files, Gigi New York Planner and notebook. It has a zipper pocket inside and an exterior pocket that can easily hold my cell phone. I highly recommend this bag not only for the office, but for day to day wear.
