Happy Friday! Today is National Lipstick Day and what better way to celebrate than by sharing a few of my favorite lip products.

I posted the photo above on instastories a few weeks ago, and many of you asked several questions regarding the lipsticks I used. Specifically the lipliner.  I usually don’t post selfies (like ever!) but this one created a lot of buzz so I figured I would do a dedicated post featuring these 3 lip products. I’ve found that using these products together create the perfect full, nude lip.

PREP

First things first, this Glamglow Matte Lip Plumper. I talked about this on Snapchat a few weeks ago and I am still loving it. I personally like the matte formula, but if you want a glossy finish they have one!

I use this first and let it sit for about a minute. I will warn you, it burns. Not too bad, but you definitely can feel a strong tingle (that’s how you know it’s working). 

LINE

The Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lipliner (color Pillow Talk) is probably the best one I have ever tried.  Not only does it stay on for several hours, but the color is spot on. I love this color because it’s a soft nude/pink which is perfect for lining.

I use this just outside my lips to create a subtle “full lip”.

COLOR

The lipstick I used is called Kim K and (in my opinion) is the perfect nude. I like this color because it’s not too brown or too white. Often when I try “nudes” and I either look completely washed out or it looks too brown for my skin tone.

Kim K has been recognized as a universal shade and is very flattering for many skin tones. When I got this color in the mail, I immediately called Katey and recommended she buy this asap. Ha! Love having friends like that.
