August is here and that can only mean Fall is on it’s way. Though it may not feel like it outside, we are already starting to plan our Fall wardrobe. Vests, booties and scarves are just a few of the things on my radar these days!
I am loving this Long Knit Fringe Vest (under $30) from Charming Charlie. It’s lightweight and perfect to wear now with a thin blouse and later in the Fall with a sweater. Can we talk about this bag? Let’s just say it’s the perfect size and comes with a detachable small pouch that can be worn as a cross body (and it’s under $40). I love love the minimal design and classic look.

Thank you so much for your comment. I will definitely work on adding more content to my “Wear to Work” section. I add about 2-3 looks per month in that category, but recently have been having more requests for work wear. As far as dressing your jeans go, I know your pain! I remember struggling to find tops that covered my bum if the jeans were “skinny” and shoes that looked good yet were comfy. I’ll touch on those topics soon! Stay tuned… xx Ashley

I have a “Wear To Work” section on my right sidebar under “The Teacher Diva” category. I feature 2-3 looks a month and talk about different shoes and other work accessories to wear with the outfit. I will definitely consider doing a “wear in a week” type of post though. I honestly wore so many of the same pieces just mixed and matched when I was teaching. I think it would be fun to put together a style board and share ways to wear a few of my go-to pieces. Thanks for the tip! I’ll look to adding that in this Fall. xx Ashley
