It’s no secret Austin and I love finding good coffee spots. If you follow my Instagram you know this is true! I often get asked about my go-to spots for trendy, “Instagram worthy” coffee shops in Dallas. Here are a few of our favorites for taste + aesthetic. Cheers! xx Ashley

TRENDY DALLAS COFFEE SPOTS
1. BIRD BAKERY
This newer spot in Highland Park Village is a great option for breakfast, lunch or a quick coffee. White marble tables, “Instagram worthy” decor and tasty eats is what you can expect when you visit Bird Bakery. They have really yummy cupcakes too!
Tory Burch White Gemini Link Tote | Tory Burch Gemini Link Slim Leather Card Case (Sold out, except in this color. Similar card case here.) | Free People Lovely Day Shirt (Similar blouse here.) | Cropped Denim (Fit: TTS. More sizes here and similar pair here.) | Chloe Sunglasses (Similar option here.) | My exact shoes are old, but here’s a very similar pair: Tan Leather Mules (On sale!) | Kate Spade Glitter Cat Phone Case
2. VILLAGE BAKING CO.
This French-inspired cafe is a must for a great latte or Americano. Village Baking Co. Boulangerie is probably one of our most visited cafes in the area. If you’re looking for a quick bite, they also make the best pastries and sandwiches. Since they are known for their baking skills, I would highly recommend trying their house-made French bread or Pain au chocolat. I always feel like I am in Paris when we visit this local bakery.
Similar Wrap Blouse (I also love this one.) | FRAME Denim (Fit: TTS. Similar option here.) | Gucci Leather Padlock Bag c/o LuxeDH (More Gucci favorites here.) | Rings: Katie Dean Little Dipper Ring + Gold Thumb Ring ***20% OFF with code ashley20 *** | Celine Tilda Sunglasses (Similar option under $10 here!) | Marc Fisher LTD Zala Pump (Color: Blush Patent – looks more nude than blush. Fit: TTS.)
3. WEEKEND COFFEE
We don’t get here too often, but when we do, we love it. Weekend Coffee is located in Downtown Dallas at The Joule (one of our favorite hotels in Dallas). Austin is a big fan of the cold-drip. Straight from the Yama tower, the cold-drip takes up to 12 hours to produce seven 12-oz. It’s his favorite! I personally prefer the iced latte with 1 pump vanilla. The seating is limited, so it’s probably best if you’re getting it to go!
4. MERCAT BISTRO
This is another Parisian-inspired restaurant that we visit often. Again, very “Instagram worthy” if you’re looking to snap some photos. We’ve actually been to Mercat Bistro several times for both breakfast and lunch. They have delicious pastries, quiche, and cappuccinos. If you can, be sure to ask for a spot on the patio!
Karen Walker Super Duper Strength Sunglasses | Goyard Wallet (Comes with Goyard GM Tote, original post here.)
5. OAK LAWN COFFEE
This is my favorite spot for a quick coffee run. If you like iced coffee, I highly recommend their infamous shaken espresso (I order mine lightly sweetened). If you can find a spot inside, you will typically see people working or reading. We usually just grab and go, but it looks like it would be a nice option for working out of the office. Oak Lawn Coffee is a must!

Another another good coffee shop is in Grapevine. It is called Buon Giorno. In a strip center one block off of State Hwy 121. Great pastries and coffee and comfy furniture . Good place to hang out. Another unique coffee shop is in College Station. It is called Sweet Eugenes and it is hugely popular with students. Comfortable couches and chairs and nice outdoor seating area.
I ,too, am a coffee freak!

All of these are sooo cute! The pastries remind me of my time in Barcelona, when I had a chocolate croissant and cafe au lait (cafe con leche) everyday. 🙂 Any recommendations for Austin?

Thanks for these, I absolutely love visiting coffee shops! Especially during summer, I loved iced coffee and the only time the weather seems to be warm enough to drink them here is like over one or two weeks during summer! Ha ha! Every other time it’s too cold!
I hope you’re having a lovely Thursday,
Michael
