My Tips For Shopping Luxury Handbags

Pre-Owned is Key

• My number 1 recommendation to anyone looking to purchase a luxury bag is to go the pre-owned route. I prefer a gently used luxury bag for several reasons and one being you can find your dream bag at a better price point. Handbags can be so pricey so why not find your bag, in nearly perfect condition, at a lower price? I’m all in. I know, this can be risky, but doing your research pays off. Many of my bags have been purchased through pre-owned sites and stores. I highly recommend going this route as you can find current handbag trends (or classics) at a more appealing price point.

Authenticity Matters

• This may seem like a no brainer, but we all hear those stories. In my experience, Trendlee is a reputable and trustworthy option. All of their handbags are guaranteed authentic and they have the track record to prove it. Trendlee is one of the most sought after destinations for pre-owned luxury handbags. •  Always! Before investing in a gently used handbag, do your due diligence. • One of the most popular questions I get on this topic, is “How do you choose which handbag to invest in when there are so many trends?” and honestly, I just pick what I like. Of course I have brands that I tend to favor, but at the end of the day, this bag needs to be functional, durable, and versatile. Personally, I have a hard time splurging on bright colors or super trendy bags. But if that is what you like, then I say go for it. You’re the one carrying it so you want to feel the most comfortable with it. If you’re having trouble narrowing it down to one bag, I always give the advice I was given when shopping for my wedding dress. I had a hard time choosing “the one” and really loved two different styles. So I printed them out and taped them on my wall. Whichever one I kept looking at most or thinking about more was “the one”. After doing that little trick, it was an obvious choice (and I never looked back).  The same can be true for bags. Maybe that tip can help you if you are in a bind!
