Holiday Gift Ideas That Give Back

Tis’ the season for giving and I could not be more proud to partner with L’Occitane in support of their newest collaboration with UNICEF. I’ve been sharing several gift ideas this season and today, I wanted to take a moment and highlight a few that give back.

From now until December 25th, L’Occitane is partnering with UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund to help improve the lives of thousands of children around the world. With each purchase of a Shea Butter Collection Gift Set or Shea Butter Deluxe Collection Gift Set, L’Occitane will donate $4 to UNICEF, up to $120,000. If you are unfamiliar with UNICEF, they work in more than 190 countries and have helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization by providing health care and immunizations, safe water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more. It’s truly incredible what they are doing!

L’Occitane is a brand I have used for years. I was first introduced to their hand cream 8 years ago when a student gave me some as a Christmas present! What a nice teacher gift right? I kept it on my desk and eventually ended up in the store purchasing a new tube for myself. I was hooked. That is also when I discovered the Almond Shower Oil (which is amazing for shaving your legs). 

Here, I am unboxing the Shea Butter Deluxe Collection Gift Set. I like this gift set because it includes 3 full size products and a little travel set (the small hand lotion is always in my purse). I just started trying the Intensive Hand Balm at night. My hands and nails always tend to get really dry during the winter and this is actually really hydrating. A friend of mine told me she uses the Intensive Hand Balm at night and sleeps with gloves on. I have never tried that, (I honestly don’t know if I would be comfortable sleeping with gloves on) but she swears that it is what keeps her hands looking young and soft. Have you guys tried that?
