I think most of us can agree leggings are pretty awesome. However, there’s much debate on whether they should be worn in public, to work, out for a night on the town, etc. I’ve personally always had the opinion that you should wear what makes you feel comfortable, but it also comes down to the situation.
When I buy leggings, I want them to be thick, somewhat structured (I want them to hold me in if that makes sense) and I like a seam or something to make them look a little nicer than, well… leggings.
Lo and behold this $49 pair of leggings seemed to check each box. This is actually the second pair I’ve purchased due to me wearing my first pair way too often. I love wearing black leggings with a cami and longer cardigan. Unless I’m at the gym, I prefer to keep my bum covered and these leggings act as a perfect layering piece. My open knit cardigan (on sale) is actually belted so you have some versatility in how you stye it.

I have the gray pair of Halogens, and I love them. I also have black and burgundy Zella leggings and Chico’s too. The Chico’s leggings have held up to heavy use.
