A new “wear to work” feature is back, and today I’m sharing how I styled the ever so popular Sloan Pant with Banana Republic.
I’m always on the hunt for the perfect office-friendly outfit. And by the looks of my inbox, so are you. Workwear that speaks to the profession, yet still remains cool and effortless is always the top question.
When I was teaching, I had 5 pairs of pants that I considered my “go-to” work pants. What made them a win ultimately came down to three factors: color, fit and comfort. I rotated them week by week, so versatility was my top priority.
Leave it to Banana Republic to create the ideal pant for any office (or classroom) setting. The Sloan Skinny-Fit textured Pant is comfortable and does not wrinkle (yes, you read that correctly). I had these packed in my bag, somewhat neatly, but when I took them out they looked as if they were steamed. The textured navy is my go-to color. In a sense, it mimics the color and pattern of denim while maintaining a professional structure and style.
