Happy almost weekend! Austin and I are currently gearing up for the annual rewardStyle conference. It should be a great weekend of networking, learning, and I am so honored for the opportunity to speak on Saturday. Stay tuned because I will be sharing snippets from the weekend and my classroom session over on my Instagram stories. And if you guys are interested, I will definitely consider putting together a blog post on our conference session. The focus is geared towards bloggers and small business owners, which many of you indicated that you are wanting to go down that road at some point. We’ll be talking about time management tips, productivity hacks, and when or how to expand your team — a big question I am seeing more and more. So if this is still of interest, let me know and I’ll be happy to put a blog post together.
In the meantime, can we talk about LikeToKnow.it? I only bring this up because I am getting questions on Instagram about why people are no longer getting emails after they “like” a photo. Of course, I am always happy to answer your questions and I figured it might be easier to address it here, too.
Many of you have heard that Instagram has restricted third-party access to Likes, meaning LTK is no longer able to pull the data it could before. Unfortunately, that means you will no longer get an LTK email when you “like” a photo. However, there are still many ways to shop my outfits or products I feature on Instagram.
As you guys know, my number one place for content is my blog. I’ve always believed in nurturing what is yours and at the end of the day, my blog is the only thing I truly own. While my Instagram community is amazing and I love each and every one of your comments, DMs, “likes” and follows, I don’t own those followers, Instagram does. So if you are a regular reader on theteacherdiva.com, thank you! Austin and I truly appreciate you and this entire community.
However, we don’t want to neglect the 302,000 followers we have on Instagram. Several of which were signed up for LTK and relied on the LTK emails to get outfit or product details. In an effort to try and make things easier since the recent API changes, we’ve been able to find three ways that might be a good compromise for those wanting to shop my Instagram.
The easiest way to shop my Instagram:
1. Visiting my “Shop my Instagram” page on my black menu bar at the top of my homepage. No sign-ups or registration required. Easy and quick. Or just remember the simple URL: theteacherdiva.com/shop
2. Another option for you LTK veterans is the LikeToKnow.it App. This app lets you follow and shop from all of your favorite influencers in one easy place. It’s also free and signing up is a breeze.
3. Weekly “Instagram Lately” Blog Posts. We decided to go ahead and bring my monthly Instagram Lately series, to a weekly post. Don’t worry, my main content here isn’t going to change, we are just creating an additional blog post recapping recent outfits and details. This post will go live every Sunday. These posts generally go into a little more detail about the outfit or product. They are designed for those who like to know more about fit + size, similar styles or budget-friendly options.
How do you guys prefer to shop? This information is really helpful for me as I continue to plan content for you. If you have a preference, please drop us a note in the comments below. Have a great rest of your week! xx Ashley

I honestly use both! The app is fun bc I can have a “feed” of other bloggers too. It reminds me of a shoppable instagram.
