A good blazer can help us get through any fashion bind. And if you saw my recent post on 6 Ways to Style A Blazer with Jeans, you might agree that they are not only limited to the office.
Plaid isn’t anything new, but as of late it seems that more and more brands are creating pieces with plaid or gingham influence. And if you’re a blazer gal like myself, you’re probably already planning how you will style your blazer with your denim shorts or over a slip dress.
If you’ve yet to get on board, I highly suggest taking a look at these options below. Trust me, a blazer will become your new wardrobe staple. My “uniform” is distressed jeans, heels, silky cami and a blazer. Simple, but chic. Just how I like it!

I just purchased this pink one (size down, this runs really big) and wore this lightweight gingham blazer here in this post (this also runs big, I am in the small but wish I got an XS).

Loving the blazer and jeans trend and the pop of color in those mules! Working from home, you’ll find me rocking a blazer, tucked-in button-down, and skinny jeans with bare feet (I prefer shoes off in the house). It probably looks super incongruous when I have guests over, but I feel like a blazer and skinnies looks preppy and polished even without shoes or socks on.
When I do leave the house, mules are my go-to shoes. They’re so versatile! They have that preppy look of loafers with the ease of flip flops. Perfect for a blazer and skinny jeans and so easy to just slip on and off by the front door!
