I have been so into these pink pumps lately. The crazy thing is, I’ve had them in my closet for almost a year now, and I’m just getting around to showing them some love. Since my closet consists of several neutrals, this shade of pink goes with just about anything I own.
I’ve been wearing them with this white blouse and recently wore them with this dress for an event. How would you style these pink pumps? I am wearing the color Pink Lemonade, but I also love the Lavender.

I love those shoes! Sam Edelman is a great shoe brand, and I see so many SE shoes that I wish were good on my feet–they’re cute and well-made and I want them!–but my foot is structured and made in just a way that this brand doesn’t work so well for me. 🙁 Isn’t it funny how we can go to all the barre and spin and yoga and HIIT classes in the world and try to outsmart genetics and change the shape of our bodies, but our feet are exactly how they are–the arch is what it is, the bone structure can’t be changed? Like–I can change my body to try to fit into a pair of Joe’s Jeans or try to go from the ‘curvy’ to the ‘modern’ style in jeans from Loft, but my feet fit in the brands they fit in…and that’s in! Womp womp!
Ah, yes! I wish there was something we could do to be able to fit all cute shoes! Unfortunately, I think we all have certain brands of shoes that don’t work well for us… So sorry Sam Edelman isn’t a shoe that works for you! It’s so frustrating, right? Too bad feet can’t be “equal opportunity” the way employers should be. BUT ANYWAY: shoe brands that work for me are Franco Sarto, Vince Camuto, Me Too, kate spade shoes, and Michael Kors *flats*…and i am also a fan of flat sandals and ankle boots from Born (they’re great on days when I am on campus and am teaching my classes…and I need comfy shoes that don’t look frumpy!). xo, Stephanie 🙂
