What I Packed For Our Trip To California

Hello from sunny California! Austin and I left on Wednesday to head to Orange County to spend some time with our family and take a mini-vacation. Many of you know that I actually lived here until I was 10 and many of our family members still live in the area. We always try to make a point to get out here a couple times a year and spend time with them. 

We are out here for a week and on our agenda, we have family time, Disney (of course), a couple meetings in LA, some pool time, and maybe a day trip to Laguna.

You know that I prefer a carry-on (this is the best little suitcase) to a checked bag, so it was a bit of a challenge squeezing 7 days into a small suitcase, but I found a way to make it work!

I get asked about this suitcase a lot and I have to say, it’s held up beautifully. I wish I could say the same about the larger one (it broke rather quickly), but the carry on size has had zero issues. A few things I’m looking forward to wearing include this ruffled swimsuit, this white blazer which is incredibly lightweight, and these denim shorts. All of which would be ideal for any warm-weather getaway.

ONE (I also bought this in pink! Size down) // TWO (Fit: I bought my normal size and a size up based on the reviews, ended up keeping my normal size though! Thank goodness for free returns) // THREE // FOUR (I always travel with a couple of these. They are so good!) // FIVE (Fit: This is meant to be a boyfriend fit, so size down if you want it more snug. This also tends to wrinkle but I promise you it’s worth it.
