We are finally getting some cool weather in Dallas and it’s giving me all the fall feels. I wanted to drop by and share my current fall shopping list. I know many of you have been requesting sweater recommendations and boot options — hopefully, this little list can be a great starting point. It also gives you more insight into where I shop!
We’ve been spending the weekend packing and unpacking (I feel like this never ends), getting a few Halloween decorations and gearing up for my college besties coming in town next Friday. I am so, so excited. We all haven’t seen each other in a couple years so we have a lot to catch up on! Hope you guys enjoy the rest of your weekend x Ashley
COZY SWEATERS
Fall isn’t fall without a cozy sweater. I just picked up this one from Madewell in cream. It has a great fit and the material feels like it won’t pill. I haven’t officially worn it out yet, but I’ll be sure to report back. If you want something with stripes, I love my Cable Stitch Colorblock Striped Sweater (Fit: I’m wearing a Medium in this post; size up) and if you want something bold, this one is not to be missed. I’m also loving lilac and purple hues — I just ordered this sweater and it is so incredibly soft (runs TTS). For my neutral gals, this striped sweater is currently in my cart. And last but not least, leave it to H&M to create the most beautiful sweaters under $50. I am about to order this turtleneck in powder pink (it’s only $24!).
ANKLE BOOTS
I am incredibly picky when it comes to ankle boots. I like an almond or pointed toe and I want something that has a block heel or is pretty flat. I really can’t do stilettos. Marc Fisher always has great options that are affordable and made really well. If you want something with buckles, I have these currently in my cart. I have been trying to order this neutral boot for the past month and they keep selling out of my size. Hopefully, I will be able to snag them soon! Love them or hate them, but Kendall + Kylie make one heck of a boot. I did find this similar style if you want to try a pair for yourself. The western boot is a trend we are seeing this season, so I picked up these a few months ago and can’t wait to finally wear them.
LONG CARDIGANS
You know I love duster cardigans. Here are a few that are on my radar this season: This grey knit duster (be sure to size down. I have the XS and it fits like a small/medium). This long vest is another staple this season. I cannot wait to recreate this outfit again in a few weeks! Another soft cardigan option is the one from Lou & Grey.
MOTO JACKETS
This might be the one piece that I won’t be buying this season. Only because I have a few that I love so much, not sure anything else could top it. One of which I will be sharing tomorrow (but here’s a sneak peek) and several of them you have seen on here numerous times. This neutral moto jacket I have in 3 colors. And this vegan leather jacket looks and feels so close to the real deal. The cut is incredibly flattering too! I bought this jacket in black during the NSale and can’t wait to finally wear it.
HATS
Hats might be my favorite accessory…ever. Maybe even more than sunglasses. I just love a well-structured hat and I found a few you guys may love too. I just ordered this one and I plan to pull out the feather. Who knows if it will work, but I love the color and from what I read it seems to be made well. I also love Lack of Color but they were hard to find in the states. Happy to know Nordstrom just picked up a few select styles. I have a feeling this under $50 grey and black hat will sell out quickly.
