Cold Front

I’ve always believed if I am going to put on a winter coat, I want it to be two things: warm and not too bulky. I found this coat from Barbour in September and have been so anxious to get an opportunity to wear it. Being in Dallas, that doesn’t come too often but lately, we’ve experienced some chilly temperatures worthy of debuting this faux fur coat.

I love this coat because it is very warm but also slimming. I know, how can it be slimming…it’s a coat. But trust me. I’ve been wanting an all-weather coat for trips we have planned this winter. I liked that the hood on this coat was removable and it also has an inner bib for extra warmth.

Coats are one of those things that need to be as functional (ie: warm and durable) as they are chic. And this one from Bloomingdales is really worth the investment.
