Holiday Plaid and Other Festive Trends I’m Loving This Season

There’s something about a plaid print that just makes it feel like the holiday season. Whether it’s the details on your wrapping paper, a new scarf or your favorite coat — plaid is an essential print during the holidays.

Thanks to many nights online shopping on Express (they have an entire edit of festive party wear!), I’ve put together a great mix for this year’s party schedule. I actually wore this fair isle sweater last night for our Home Group Christmas party — it’s now on sale for under $30.

For me, holiday outfits are all about the details – luxe fabrics (like this velvet dress), plaid details and hints of sparkle. This year, I’m embracing all of these (especially plaid)!
