Hello from Palm Springs! Austin and I are here on a little babymoon/last Valentine’s Day before the baby. It has been super chill and very relaxing, to say the least, which is everything we wanted in a babymoon. We are also getting to see my family next week in Orange County, which will be a nice addition to the trip as well.
Due to popular demand, I put together my entire packing list for the week below. Almost everything is non-maternity but bump approved. If you’re escaping the cold or wanting to start your summer shopping, I have you covered. Full disclosure, normally I wouldn’t take this much on an 8-day vacation. I am very much a minimalist when it comes to packing outfits and shoes and pride myself on getting everything into a carry-on. However, this is our last trip before baby and who knows when I’ll be at a resort again. I wanted to make sure I had plenty of options.
Also, I am going to do a full post over our time here in Palm Springs. I know our Instagram community had specific things and questions they wanted me to highlight. If you have any, be sure to leave them in the comments below and I will make sure to add them to the list.
Thanks for stopping by! xx Ashley

*I added special notes on sizing below. If I didn’t add anything, it’s because I found it to run true to size*
SWIMSUITS + COVERUPS
Under $50: Leopard One Piece (I went up to a size medium)
Leopard Bandeau Top and Bottoms (Can you tell there’s a leopard theme going on?)
Under $50: Tan Ruffle One Shoulder One Piece (This ran small, I got a large.)
Striped Bikini Top and Bottoms
Under $50: White Lace Coverup (This fits like a medium.)
Sundress Maxi Slip (This runs big, but I love the flow and style. I ordered the XS/S and it fits the bump.)
CASUAL + TRAVEL
Maternity Leggings (The best I’ve tried!)
Maternity Striped Top (Wearing a size 1.)
Maternity Denim (Took my normal jean size.)
Lace Tunic (Also worn here on my Instagram.)
Under $50: Tan Boyfriend Blazer (I styled this in mauve a couple years ago and it has the best fit and is great to wear in the spring and summer since it’s a lighter material. I followed the US sizing in the parenthesis.)
Under $50: Maternity Black Layering Tank Top
DINNER OUTFITS
Tan Knit Dress with Black Duster (I told you, I am living in stretchy, knit dresses these days. Size down in the black duster.)
Black Knit Dress with Tan Duster
Blue Maxi Dress (This is technically a coverup, but it’s lined and not at all sheer. I plan to wear this to a casual patio dinner.)
SHOES
Golden Goose Sneakers (I’m an 8-8.5 and I ordered a 38, these are what I wore to the airport.)
Brown Leather Slides (Size up.)
Pool Slides (Size up – also, these are incredibly comfortable. I don’t know what it is but I want to wear them all the time.)
Block Heel Mules (My exact pair has been sold out for a few years, but I love these similar options: Tan Block Heel Mule, Leather Block Heel Mule.)
ACCESSORIES
Under $50: Pearl Hair Clips
Under $50: Net Bag
Sleep Oil: (You know I was a fan of the Body Drops, this is just as good!)
Body Blur: (Already on my second tube. Everyone needs this on a vacation. No questions asked!)
LUGGAGE
Under $50: Travel Makeup Case (This is the one I featured on my IG Stories a while back. I have the 10.2*3.9*9 inch)
Under $10: Plastic Organizers (I am working on a blog post on “affordable travel organizers” and these will definitely be included. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Truffle bags and think they make excellent gifts, but if you tend to overpack or carry a lot of stuff, they can get pretty expensive. This duo is still chic and will cost you under $10.)
