5 Spring Must-Haves for Him and Her

What’s on your spring wish list? Like many of you, we’ve been doing a little spring cleaning around here and have been anxious to swap out our wool knits for something a little more light. I typically buy a few new things before the start of each season. Mainly pieces that will take me into summer, but I also look for things I can wear with other items I already own. It’s all about versatility!

FOR HIM

Austin’s style has always been more casual. For him, spring is a time to embrace shorts, classic tees and his favorite denim jacket. 

1. LIGHT WASH DENIM: Like this Paige Denim Jacket from Nordstrom or the Imoku Denim Jacket make a great spring staple.
2. SHORTS: Hurley Dri-FIT Shorts (These run a little small, Austin went up a size) and the Bonobos Stretch Washed Chino 9-Inch Shorts are both ideal for spring and summer.
3. A CLASSIC V NECK TEE: This subtle V-Neck Tee is a great staple. Austin wears this one often and it has held up really well. You get what you pay for with this tee!
5. WHITE SNEAKERS: Austin loves these White Sneakers. He actually wears them year round, but they definitely get more play during these next few months.

 

FOR HER

It’s no secret I love lightweight layers and woven accessories. Here are a few of my top picks on my spring wishlist! 

1. WOVEN HAT: This Straw Hat has been a favorite of mine for the past two years.
2. LIGHTWEIGHT LAYERS: I just bought this Stripe Knee Length Duster and this Linen Blazer.
3. CROPPED DENIM: Always a must. Loving these styles:  High Waist Cropped Denim or these Crop Straight Leg Jeans 
4. CLASSIC CAMISOLE: Truly essential for any wardrobe. I recommend this  Silk camisole or the Atlas Camisole
5. STRAW HANDBAGS: This Woven Square Handle Satchel is a great way to welcome spring without breaking the bank.
